This time I got the Carnitas Nachos and it was so good and satisfying. A lot of meat, and the green sauces from the sauce bar were a great finishing touch. I’ve been to almost all the locations down here, but Cathedral City is my favorite. Nice people too!

Ordered a California Burrito through the drive-thru, it was not the best. The asada had good flavor and the salsa roja was good and spicy but the fries and cheese in the burrito were cold. Biting into it, the cheese was still in its shredded form. Do better and at the very least, re-heat the fries in oil so that the cheese melts.

Upon entering we were questioning our decision. Chairs were stacked on the table and there was only one table with patrons. It was the evening of the 4th July. However, the staff greeted us quickly, they were friendly and helpful. It was our first visit and they were patient allow us plenty of time to order as we were unfamiliar with the menu. We ordered the beef burrito, tacos and beef chimichangas. The potions were good size, the price was good. The food had a good flavor and we all enjoyed our meal.

Carne Asada Fries. So much meat and cheese and crispy papas. The guacamole and sour cream are perfectly proportioned. Chile Verde fries are just as good. So many meals consumed and will continue to consume any day any time.

I’ll stop going to Castañeda’s can’t believe what I saw last Friday, went for a breakfast burrito, when I was having breakfast this pest control guy came into the restaurant (inside the restaurant but couldn’t get video) and started spraying pesticides around the floor by the salsas area and around the counter area, I couldn’t believe it, this pesticides cause cancer, even the employees are exposed to it, I wish I could have taken a video when he was inside, then he went outside and continue to spray pesticide around the restaurant for another 10 minutes. If this is going on outside, can you imagine how things are done in the kitchen? Or what’s around? Use your imagination…

Best Mexican food I have had in a really long time! You can tell it’s authentic Mexican made food, staff was super friendly, Food was hot and plentiful too!! We had 2 beef Tacos and an enchiladas combo and a Mushroom and Chicken Quesadilla & Jack cheese, soooo good!!! If ever in the area again I will definitely drag everyone here to eat and enjoy this great food! Thank you for a wonderful meal that we are still talking about and it’s been weeks since we were there!
