First time at an AYCE Korean bbq and we went with experts. So they had this method of ordering and staging – some dishes first, others that followed and dishes that went last. Full service as they cook for you and they switch out the cast iron plates between some of the dishes. Reservation required (except maybe at lunch) $43/person. Nov 2025

Absolutely loved this place. The food at Cast Iron Pot is super comforting and full of flavor — you can tell everything is made with care. Portions were generous, prices felt fair, and everything came out hot and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff was really friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely a go-to spot in NJ when you’re craving something hearty and satisfying. Will be back for sure.

Always a great experience eating here, the quality of the meat is pretty good, very rarely they do give out bad pieces (thick cartilage, fatty, etc.). However compared to other places the meat is well marinated and seasoned. Service is generally quick if you know what you want.

Our top picks are: top blade steak, cast iron steak, bulgogi and thin brisket, also marinated ribs is okay

GREAT VALUE AND QUALITY Staff is VERY attentive and the cook everything for you. The food is done at the table effortlessly QUALITY of beef cuts better than most Korean places. So awesome! RECOMMENDED!

Loved everything we ordered. Lychee soju is a must try. I had 2. We had the thinly sliced pork belly, brisket & garlic steak cubes. Love it! They cooked it in front of us perfectly. Came with sides. First time here and we will be back again. No complaints. Got a table fast. We had a very good time here. Service was very good.

It gets a 3.5 star rating. People are nice here and have a fun ambience. The ventilation is not great, I guess the store is a little old. Compared to the NYC location, this store is a little outdated. The meat quality is okay, not great, and the pre-dish and condiments set up can be a little neater. Overall, it’s a good experience and the food hits the spot.

We visited this restaurant for lunch on a Saturday as a group. The service was prompt and friendly. You can only order up to four types of meat at a time for AYCE but the waiters did not take long at all between servings. They were very attentive in cooking the meats. A must try is their two types of squids, spicy and garlic flavored. Very juicy and tender. Overall the restaurant is clean and evenly staffed across tables, we had a great time.

Most places with all-you-can-eat are not that great, but cast iron’s quality of food is great. We ordered steak, small intestine, pork belly, and jowl. Side dishes are great. I wish steam eggs were bit more fluffy though.
It is definitely worth $37.50.

Nice restaurant with parking. This was my first time here & let’s just say not all Korean BBQ is created equally. The staff was very nice, but explained nothing at all to me. At other Korean barbecue places, I have experienced cooking my own food, going to a sauce bar to select different sauces and toppings, and a full bar. This place has a great deal on their lunch buffet, but I had to ask many questions to figure a lot of things out on my own. They bring you out a nice amount of meat for the grill, they placed me on the grill for you, and they basically cook it for you With no seasonings or sauce aside from a small selection that is already on the table for you. This was a great service to offer, but unfortunately, I was unable to achieve the flavor that I wanted from my meat. The crab was tiny and cooked too long so the crab meat was mushy. Because of this, We didn’t really eat it. The fried rice was good, the beef brisket was good . The spicy pork was good but I recommend eating it as soon as it is done cooking. The flavor changes as it sat. They didn’t come back to turn off the grill until the food started to overcook and stick. The fried dumplings were ok, they looked like empanadas. I didn’t enjoy my peach Soju- it was way too sweet ! That’s basically the only alcohol they had was Korean wine. Unfortunately I would not recommend or revisit this place.

One easy To improve is to ask customers have they been there before, and if not provide them with a small explanation of how things work there. Though the employees smiled and provided everything that was asked for, the “new customer experience”/ “first timer welcome feeling” just wasn’t there. Basically what I mean is if you didn’t ask for it, you wouldn’t get it. If you didn’t ask a question, you would not receive an answer.
