The breadsticks were over-baked, yet not hot. Not sure why they can’t bake both at the same time.
The pizza was hot, yet over-baked. Requested red but not green pepper, they didn’t put any peppers on. Why ask if you are not going to do what the customer wanted.
The cheese sauce I was told was cheese sauce, yet it does have a jalapeño flavor to it. Would be a good thing to tell people.
There was a funky cleaning solution smell in the restaurant that the pizza also took on. The pizza smelled weird and tasted weird, on top of the super salty taste.

Ordered a Deluxe large with no mushrooms. The receipt says no mushrooms but the pizza is covered in mushrooms. I’m allergic to mushrooms. And calling the 888 number is useless! Do better people!

You never know who you’re dealing with when you’re handling an order. This company uses a call center to do their orders. They employe extremely rude people that make it obvious in their voice that they hate their job.
For $28, they didn’t even deliver to my room at the hotel. I told the rep on the phone what room I was in, and she was like, “They’ll just call you” and to “keep a look out for the next hour”. I get a ton of spam calls. So I had to shut off my spam blocker, and during that hour, I got 32 spam calls that got through, none of which was the delivery driver.
I then went downstairs after an hour and sat in the lobby, because, you know, when you’re traveling for business, you have nothing else to do but to sit in the lobby watching everyone come in waiting for your food because the pizza call center is too lazy to put your room number on the order.
Turns out the rep on the phone didn’t bother to even put on the order what room number I was in, didn’t bother telling anyone that I specifically requested silverware or napkins. My food was cold, and it was disgusting.
I was charged $28 for that nasty cold food, including the $5 delivery charge. I should have just ordered Domino’s. They would have happily put on my room number and delivered to my room with no issues so I could do what I needed to do after spending 12 hours on the road for my job. And my food would have been hot.
Don’t waste your time. This company clearly doesn’t care. The call center people proved this. They don’t give a care about you or your order whatsoever. That’s why they don’t want to put your room number and tell you to just sit around for an hour or so in the lobby waiting for your pizza to be delivered. Because if you’re in a hotel, you clearly have nothing better to do.
This place is definately going on my “Never again”. And, as I’ve done mystery shopping for 25 year, this place would have failed miserably if it was a mystery shop. Yes, I know I repeated things. But this review isn’t a mystery shop. No, it wasn’t written professionally and I don’t care.

So I placed an order for pick up. I ordered a deluxe with extra cheese. I go in to pick it up the woman at the counter acted like it was a burden to be there, and was miserabl. I asked is the marina sauce in there. She replied ( how would I know, it should be) I opened it, and glanced just enough to see it she then says( we are good at what we do) I get home it’s undercooke, and not cut. I pop it in the oven, get it out. I take a bite there is no cheese in the first bite, take the next one barely any at all. I have been going to Cassanos for years never ever again. It’s a disgrace. I’m so disgusted I’m giving it to the dog, and going to bed hungry

Love this pizza! Well crafted and flavorful. Dough is good, cheese is good, sauce is good. If I wasn’t careful, I could eat a large myself. My favorite part is the salt on the bottom and the tiny square slices.

I went into this location today. The food was excellent. But I wish I would’ve just went out in my car and ate my food. There was two females in there, talking to each other about expired marinara cheese that has not been dated talking about their other coworkers. It was just ridiculous. I literally had to get up make myself noticeable and go get a refill so they knew that I was in there. I mean, that’s just unacceptable to be sitting there talking that loud And just to know that my food could’ve been expired is totally ridiculous. I should not know half of the stuff that I know from the store. Letting it be known that a driver made $200 one day and they worked from 11 to 7 the drivers make more money than the people in house. Who cares why are we jealous about that? I’m guessing because these two ladies don’t have a car or something I don’t know, but I do wanna report this and I wanna let you guys know that this was unacceptable and I figured this was a nice location, but it’s actually a trashy location.

I have been a loyal Cassanos customer for decades , usually eating it at least once a week. The store located in Riverside
( woodman drive ) is hands down the best crew I have encountered. My order is always a little strange as I always get No Sauce on my Pizzas and they w/o fail always make it correctly. Also the quality of the Pizza(s) are always well made and the crew is always friendly and helpful. Special thank you to Rebecca who always makes sure the food is made properly and always greets me with a smile and is kind/quick and a great ambassador for the company.
