Our group recently hosted an event at Casper’s Cherokee, and I couldn’t be more impressed. We utilized their party room, which provided the perfect atmosphere for our group, spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The buffet was outstanding; every dish was delicious, fresh, and kept well-stocked throughout our stay. What truly set the experience apart, however, was the exceptional service by our server, Barb. The staff was attentive and greeted everyone with a genuine smile, making sure our needs were met without us even having to ask. If you are looking for a venue that combines great food with professional and welcoming staff, I highly recommend Casper’s. Thank you for making our gathering so memorable!”

All around 5-star experience!
My husband and I both got the Millennial Steak. He got the 16oz and I got the 8oz. They were cooked to perfection – a true medium rare. The flavor was so good – no steak sauce needed! It came with your choice of potato (we picked their ‘famous au gratin’ – yum!), a sizeable side salad and a basket of bread. Oh, and our steaks came out with a giant onion ring on top.
Our server, Joann was AMAZING!!! She was incredibly attentive, informative and kind.
We can’t wait to come back!

The steaks are always perfectly cooked (I only once had a steak that was sent back for former cooking, and it was returned perfect). I LOVE their au gratin potatoes—I don’t know where else you can find so gratin potatoes in the Twin Cities area. A side salad comes included (their blue cheese is very good), as well as warm bread. I think it’s a great value where you don’t need to pay a bunch of money for everything a la carte like some restaurants do.

We came in with a large group of about 30 people for a Sunday afternoon lunch, but I was pretty disappointed with the food. I ordered the Walleye Hoagie, and unfortunately, it was cold and lacked flavor.
The space itself is large and can handle big groups, and they do have a nice big patio that’s great if you’re just looking to enjoy the atmosphere. Service might be better downstairs, but overall, I can’t really recommend this place for the food.

This place is the kind of blast from the past that serves salad in a low glass leaf bowl and A1 with your steak. During the holidays, they decorate with a million lights and it’s truly magical. It’s pretty relaxed and the kids love it.

This was one of the best all around meal experiences that we have had. The food was done perfectly, my wife ordered the walleye and said it was the best she has had (she orders it alot) our service was very good, attentive but not hovering. A great experience!!

Walleye night and it was delicious! Service was a bit slow – no one came to our table for quite a while. But once our order was in, the server came back to check in periodically. Then it took a while for us to pay bill, but it was really busy so understandable. Maybe they need some more servers on fish fry night? Otherwise, it was a good dining experience. The side salad was really good – fresh and crunchy. Ranch dressing tasted homemade, not bottled. The breading on the fish wasn’t too heavy and the fries tasted like they were made from fresh potatoes.

We have an annual holiday gathering for a group of about 25 that we belong to and have been meeting for lunch at Caspers Cherokee of Eagan for several years now. Each time the members are asked if they would like to go somewhere else, the answer is always no! The food is delicious with wonderful House specialties such as the walleye, augratin potatoes, wonderful salads and breads, all of which are plentiful with great variety, and the prices are very reasonable for what we got! Service was very good and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. We were able to gather in one of their rooms that can be closed off with folding doors for private parties. We look forward to it every year. They are very accommodating of groups there. During the holidays they have a wonderful display of decorations. They are also a drop off point for Toys For Tots. Definitely worth a visit any time of year!!!

Awesome quality food. Long islands are the best, still the best value drinks in town!

Delicious food. We had the quesadilla appetizer. That would’ve been a meal in itself. I had the Reuben with their au gratin potatoes. He had the special, walleye dinner. Bar atmosphere. Was $50 for two of us.
