I have to start by saying that Red Sox season was off when I went. Food was very good, atmosphere is great as a sports bar with more than 30 TV’s and service was a bit slow but good.

Amazing place !!! great experience from the bar to the kitchen !! A perfect place to enjoy a red soxs pregame warm up with their awesome food and drink menu. There are plenty of options for all ages and tastes. Signature BBQ MENU smoked for hours to melt in your mouth. BBQ ribs, pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and burned ends is just to die for. burgers salads and more. Shareable starters like nachos and wings with different flavors. The cocktails are delicious. Just try a coconut margarita with real coconut flakes. it is just refreshing and exquisite + wines the best draft beers in the market and signature cocktails that will make your pregame a wonderful part of your day. Service is great, and food is relatively fast considering how busy this place is in a game day. Great job

We stopped in here after doing the Fenway Park tour, and it’s definitely a spot built for a party/game-day atmosphere. Since there wasn’t a game on when we visited, things were quieter, which gave us a chance to take it in at a more relaxed pace.

Drinks: The mojito was excellent – really fresh and well-balanced. The Guinness was just what you’d expect, poured right and no complaints.

Food: We both went with salads. I had one with avocado and bacon, and my fiancé had one with chicken. The ingredients were fresh, but the flavor was a little watered down – still enjoyable, just not as bold as we were hoping for.

Service & Atmosphere: The staff was friendly, but service was on the slower side, especially considering the place wasn’t packed. A little more attentiveness would’ve gone a long way. That said, the vibe is cool, and you can tell this place must be electric on game days.

Overall: Not a bad experience at all – solid drinks, decent food, and a great location if you’re coming from Fenway. I’d say it’s worth checking out if you want to grab a drink or a bite near the ballpark, especially when there’s a game or event going on.

EXCELLENT BBQ Brisket, baked beans, mac ‘n cheese sides all house pitmaster made. DELICIOUS!! Wedge salad. Draft Samuel Adams and Blue Moon. Waiter staff friendly excellent 4 stars only because it was busy…he had to really hustle! We’d repeat going here for sure! (Right near Fenway Stadium Gate D) Enjoy!

– Food was pretty average, but the service and atmosphere were great and what you would want out of a large sports bar. The place was much bigger than I realized

This place is not what it seems…
Sure, you’re at a concert near Fenway park. You say to you yourself hey, let’s go get a beer after the show. You walk in. You order a Guinness. It’s Boston, they know how to pour a proper pint. BUT NO. this man behind the bar assaulted my eyes and tastebuds. He poured what I would describe as one of the worst Guinness pours I have ever witnessed. This is not a college teeny-bopper bar. Real men come here to get real beer. If this is how you treat your customers, count me out. Waited 10 minutes at the bar to even get served.
1/10 never again.

Good place for American food and also served good drinks. The coconut margarita was really good. Had the Mac and Cheese as well and was pretty tasty. The onion rings were some of the best I’ve had.

My girlfriend and I took the kids to a concert on Sunday and we decided to eat at Cask n Flagn , the Fenway location . The kids were miserable when we arrived because of all the train delays, especially my daughter who is on the spectrum. Our server Nicole had just the trick for that and made her a very decorative strawberry lemonade and helped her decide what to eat, she’s extremely difficult when she gets to that point but Nicole didn’t sweat or get impatient like other people have when we go out. I was a server so I do understand the time crunch sometimes but this time was so different . She seemed to have a couple other big tables. However, she still took the time to cheer my daughter up and it made all the difference in the rest of our night. The food was delicious . The only issue was, two pieces of my steak were a little rare. Nicole took them back to the kitchen and had them cooked up and brought them right back. She also recommended my friend a coconut margarita which she said was delicious. I stuck with wine. Not a huge selection but it is just a sports bar. We were happy, the kids were happy, and Cask n Flagn is a go to if you need a quick bite when in the Fenway area! I usually don’t do reviews but I felt like she deserved to be mentioned because if things hadn’t gone the way they did and my daughter didn’t snap out of it our night wouldn’t have been what it was! Thanks Nicole, we’ll be back!
