Went with my mother and niece to celebrate her birthday lunch here. Picked a spot close to her school and work.

It’s on the left side after the main doors.

Ordered the crab Rangoon dip, yummy crunch, cali roll with cream cheese, pad Thai, croque monsieur (because mom has never tried it and figured it could be worth a try), gouda Mac and cheese, chicken hibachi. $89+

Sushi, American and an eclectic mix of cuisine here.

The cali roll is so-so.

The chicken hibachi was overcooked and not much flavor. Comes with plain rice. I asked if I could get more veggies, another staffer said yes. Never saw one more piece of veggie at all, beyond what comes with the hibachi.

The croque monsieur is ok, not super flavorful, the cheese on top seems like an afterthought.

The crab Rangoon dip was decent. Wontons are nicely fried. Pitas aren’t too bad.

The smoked Gouda is quite good, the cork screw noodles are perfect with the cheese blend.

The pad that is just okay, could have used a lime and some bean sprouts.

Bar feel inside. Glad they have booths, my mother feels more comfortable in them, more closed off and protective than a table and chairs in the middle of the dining area.

Our waitress wasn’t too bad. Did end up interacting with other staff for items.

We asked one waiter with chin length hair on his left side and short or shaved on the right side to take a picture, he looked annoyed and couldn’t be bothered to take a picture of my family. He only took one picture and it was bleary and far away. Glad this sour grape didn’t wait on us today. Phew!

The food here was delicious! It looked good and it tasted even better… The cocktails were ok though

The ambient was very nice as well not cozy or something like that but nice to be at.

The place was crowded so it wasn’t the most promptier service but intgemuessnthats expected anywhere crowded

Pleasantly chaotic atmosphere with great service and even better food (and drinks!). Several t.v.s playing different shows/sports. Took the bf out for birthday dinner and they even gave him a signed b-day card from the staff . They also have a points program, just one more reason to go back. Highly recommend a reservation for a smooth and enjoyable visit. Sparty fries and Guinness pictured.

I don’t really know how to describe it, it’s not really my cup of tea when it comes to the menu. So I’m not sure exactly how to describe it other than to say Eastern type of menu. Alot of fish sushi that type of thing. But they do, do a good job with their burgers never had their hanger steak but I’m quite sure it’s tasty based on the things I have had here. Anyway they do a real nice job with the front porch. You’d never believed that sitting on top of five heavily moving streets in boulevards in a big shopping center across the street that goes down into a valley! Very pleasant atmosphere considering all that’s just on the other side of the blinders and as you can see from the pictures inside is fairly stylish and classy.

Had the chicken Oscar with polenta. Chix a bit salty for my taste but polenta was excellent. After your meal head around the corner to Hooked for a coffee; cool place.

Hats off to the chef! Spartan burger delicious. Fries are amazing. Duck sloppy joe was all sorts of good on the pretzel bun. The Mediterranean chix tacos on naan
bread were straight up excellent tandoori

Make reservations, or it’s almost impossible to get in. They have a very eclectic menu (eel!!), so I’m sure you can find something you like!! It did take 45 min for the food, and our waitress had to be asked for drink refills, boxes, checks… They have a lot of fun trivia going on that you join on your phone. We don’t want to brag but we did win a couple, and you only win bragging rights! Lol! You can put your pic on the tv also. It’s fun, and worth checking out.

The whole experience was great. They were able to accommodate our large group in the bar area. We went at a perfect time, there was literally zero wait. Everything was great. The food was made to order from scratch, even the kids chicken tenders were made from a batter! The sushi, hibachi, burgers, wings, Mac and cheese were honestly delish. The only complaint was the nachos and loaded fries were extremely spicy, but still good overall. Great options for my vegetarian, and she enjoyed her dish. The adult beverages were fantastic! The variety of beers was a nice touch. Parking is tight, and located on a very busy street. Overall will definitely be back when in East Lansing.

Stopped in on my way out of Lansing for lunch. The service was prompt, initially, and I got my beer within a couple minutes of sitting down.
The beer was cold, though I wasn’t a fan of the flavor, no problem there, though.
My second beer choice kicked a few seconds after pouring, so i had to go for the third option. Alright, it is what it is.
I ordered the chicken tikka masala with naan. It was tragic. Like a non-Indians first attempt at tikka masla at home, from a recipe they found on an online blog posted by someone who wasn’t Indian. It was thin, with big tomato chunks, unmarinated strips of chicken instead of chunks, the wrong flavor profile from the spices, wrong color, and the saddest naan I’ve ever seen that would have been better from Walmart. It was also accompanied with plain white rice. Not even basmati.
I’ve been to every corner fo the USA, and I’ve ate Tikka Masala in more cities than I can count. This was the worst by far. BY FAR. Also, at $21, it was one of the most expensive tikka masala’s I’ve ever had, and THE smalles5 portion I’ve ever had.
I took 3 bites, pushed it to the end of the bar, and 10-15 minutes later the bartender asks: “Do you want a box?”
I laughed and asked for the check.

Awesome place for food or drinks, large parties or small. I highly recommend the Crab Rangoon Dip. The cheese on top is wonderful and complements the crab perfectly. Terrific sushi rolls. The Great Wall and the Yummy Crunch were amazing.
