Best drink prices in downtown. Great 1930- 40’s atmosphere. All good beer and elegant mixed drinks. Great specials. No coors lite miller or bud….love it.

This was my favorite part of downtown La Crosse!! Staff were so friendly and one of the bartenders let us look through a book about the history of the place when I asked about it. The drinks were amazing! Coming from Milwaukee where drinks are obnoxiously expensive, it was great to get a delicious drink for 3.00. They even have a beer vending machine! I would recommend a white Russian since they have a whole menu of different varieties. I absolutely loved the old decor! I will definitely be back!

We dont come here very often but always have good service (despite the sign ) and great drinks! You can never go wrong with the color of the bar!

You gotta check this place out once, even if divey bars are not your thing. Open the door and looks like you walked into a scene from the Big Lebowski. Very reasonable drink prices, the smallest door I’ve ever had to walk thru to get to a bathroom. If you are planning on having a Bud, Coors or Miller, better find something else. Have a good White Russian Menu. When the bartender poured me one I could tell it wasn’t the best or top of the line ingredients but it tasted well and didn’t cost a lot. Plus I can’t say I have found a beer vending machine besides a curling club in North Dakota.

Cool bar! Josh is a very nice bartender! Loved to hear the story of the bar! And where else do you see a vending machine full of beer!

Perfectly preserved Jazz Age gem with strong, cheap drinks and White Russian specials. Friendly crowd.

Cody was awesome. Shane had the potential to be as good but didn’t serve us. I’ve heard good things about him.

Really – It was a wonderful venue and we had a great time. Awesome drinks and great atmosphere. Loved it. We’ll definitely be going back!

Went there for a nightcap, last night. The place is dirty and run down, and they didn’t even have a cocktail menu. I ended up with a tiny bottle of wine, which tasted like vinegar! Ugh! The owners need to put some effort into cleaning and maintaining the place. It could be a great spot.
Advertising it as in pristine condition is a misrepresentation of the facts!

Great Art Deco bar with excellent craft cocktails. Had the old fashioned which was very well made. My drink got knocked over by someone and was quickly remade for me at no cost. Service was exemplary.

After a change of ownership, Casino has bounced back to being a fun bar to visit and get away from the crowds to enjoy a well made cocktail. The decor is dated, but that’s part of the draw. They pride themselves on not serving basic beers, so keep that in mind.

Great little place with a 1950s feel. You expect the Rat Pack to drop in at any moment. True, it does show its age and may look a little rough around the edges, but the cocktails are great and the bartenders are friendly.
