Since 1985 Casey’s Pizza started out with his grandfather Anthony Tolerico. The “Casey’s” name came from his love of baseball and his favorite player Casey Stengel. Casey Stengel played for the Boston Braves but was most noted for managing the Yankees in the early 50’s and later when the Yankees expanded to the New York Mets. Everyone started calling him Casey and the nickname stuck. The first Casey’s pizza opened up at Universal shopping plaza in Penn Hills in 1968, a few years later they moved to the Ritzland shopping center. They would make fresh dough every morning and grate fresh cheese everyday and that practice is still done to this day. Casey opened up 5 more locations throughout the years before settling down in Turtle Creek, Pa.

I have loved Casey’s for years and still do! Tonight I tried the light bake… Horrible move on my part. They were nice enough to call to confirm how I wanted it cooked and that it could be slightly doughy… But when I tell you this pizza was literally just raw pizza dough. I tried to pick it apart but there wasn’t any edible parts other than the crust and I still feel like I consumed a bit of raw dough and now I feel nauseous and my stomach hurts ♀️ a lesson has been learned.

Been getting Casey’s for close to 20 yrs, never had a problem with there service or there food. If someone has a problem with them then I think you’re just being spiteful and ungrateful. Not every place caters to just one customer, respect the fact that they are a pizza place not a restaurant and be patient or order somewhere else

I had 9 rounds of radiation with 2 surgeries…they would not bring my food to the 2nd floor…
I had drains in my neck from my previous surgery..
The driver was out side screaming and yelling about I have to walk down to get my foood..
Fox’s Pizza Mama meatballs pizza and a bunch of other pizza places came to my door with smiles..
If you live in a apartment complex don’t order from them you will get an attitude cluster attitude comes with ignorance… Order from mama meatballs or foxes pizza they will bring you meal to the door

Got a Rigatoni dinner with garlic toast. Wow! I’ve eaten about 1/2 of the abundance of food provided in the dinner. Rigatoni is very good with plenty of sauce. The photo shows the half I’m still working on. Highly recommend! PS – There is enough food in one dinner for 2 people in my opinion. I have leftovers from the dinner I was eating… I’m not one to have leftovers. lol

We’ve been ordering from Casey’s for years, but have been disappointed plenty of times. They forget extra cheese pretty often. This time they put on the extra but also made both pizzas extra crispy, both were burnt on top and the crust wasn’t fully cooked. I’m not sure why the quality has plummeted but it’s very sad that we won’t be ordering from here anymore. Not sure if they’ll make it much longer with service like this!

Haven’t ordered from here in 4 years because my pizzas were burnt last time. Decided to try them out again. Food delivery was on time and the taste was good but the crust of the pizza was so thin. It was like chewing on globs of cheese. It wasn’t very enjoyable. The other pizza was burnt. Hoagie was okay.
