A deli is the best deli I have been too for several reasons. The family that owns it are salt of the earth kind of people that work hard and prepare amazing sandwiches. My go to is a spicy Italian toasted with everything, hot and sweet peppers, and it has to be toasted! Add the salt and vinegar chips, a drink from the cooler and the amazing baklava and you will leave with a smile on your face. The chicken salad and egg salad are also top notch. My mouth is watering.

My mother recently hosted a baby shower for me and picked up a few things from here including a variety of sandwiches, potato salad, cookies, and brownies. Everything was packaged so well and it was all exceptionally delicious. They seemed to have really went above and beyond to make everything perfectly. All of our guests complimented the food. I cannot thank all of you enough for making our day even more special. We have been customers here even prior to the baby shower and we will continue to be regular customers here.

There’s no other sub around that compares to the Classic Italian! Just make sure to omit the mayo. Easy to call in a order and it’s ready when you get there, even during the lunch hour. Fantastic owners, always asking what you’d like on it, especially extra banana peppers!

BLUF-bottom line up front…this place reminds me of The Deli in Herndon/ Fairfax. The subs are all delish! Get the classic Italian and you won’t be disappointed. If you are hungry or want to split with someone else, get the large. My go to place for classic cold cuts.

I was super excited to try A Deli Italian Food after reading so many great wonderful reviews, I was debating between this location and Jersey Mike’s, Subway and even Potbelly’s and then the food came and was sooooooooooooooooooo disappointed. I ordered an 8″ steak and cheese sub ($9.79) adding grilled peppers (.25), grilled onions (.25), grilled mushrooms (.25) w/ lite lettuce, tomato, raw onions, banana peppers and mayo on the side. The driver was very nice and courtesy. I opened the bag and the paper was soggy and leaking and I was looking for the container of mayo I requested on the side, which was non-existent. To my dismay I unpacked the sub to find mayo ON THE SUB, no grilled peppers, no grilled mushrooms, no grilled onions that I paid extra for. The meat was EXTREMLY overcooked and dry, I called A Deli and explained the issue only to be told by the individual on the other end that I was lying and the grilled items are on the bottom under the meat, and I explained that I took the sub apart and there was no grilled items and then the individual said that the grilled items were on top of the meat and under the cheese. I requested that the sub be remade and delivered, the individual said he would give me a discount. FOR WHAT? For requesting that my sub be made the right way that I requested and paid for…the individual agreed to deliver another steak and cheese sub that way I requested. Upon delivery I check to make sure I received the correct sub and in fact I did not, this time I received a classic sub, which I did not request. I called back and was told by the individual that the order that was delivered was in fact the correct sub, I requested a complete refund of my entire order only to discovered I was charged over $30 for two subs, I will be disputing this charge. As a first time customer I will NEVER recommend this location to anyone. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY, just go somewhere else, you’ll be happy you did.

Lines always and takes more time to prepare the food! They need to hire more helper if the store is busy! The owner lady is rude and needs to be polite to customer and delivery drivers! The guy is good but the lady as an attitude problem and need to learn how to talk to other people with respect!

WOW! We love this place. My family just relocated to NOVA from Florida and we sure missed Laspada’s Subs. This place is very similar and delicious! We both order “The Super Big A” and is our addiction. We love how loaded the sandwich is served, and the flavor is amazing. The sandwiches have always been consistent in flavor and love the mom and pop feel to this deli. We have ordered quite frequently upon discovering “A Deli” and will continue to. Also, the chocolate chunk cookies they have are so yummy, our son didn’t want to share a bite with us.
