My cousin and I went here and the business was super slow, they gave me water instead of the drink I ordered. The one that we went to smelled like smoke so bad that it irritated our eyes. They didn’t even seat us when we entered we had to seat ourselves to a table. The stall door in the bathroom didn’t even had a stall door when he went in. They also didn’t have very many kid options on the menu and it was all fattening so for anyone on a diet, would not recommend. The food was pretty good although, the one and only server didn’t have a spoon for my cousins applesauce, he was pretty mad. And the noodles to my order where really small

We were charged over $54 for hot sausage hoagie, club sandwich, a basket of fries, sweet tea and a sprite. Waitress couldn’t provide an itemized bill. When I questioned it she said the prices increased. Service is super slow. We used to eat here all the time but never again. It’s definitely not what it used to be when Liz and Jim were running it.

Food is great for the price, service is okay I feel they are understaffed a lot. The building def needs updated. Very old dirty smoking environment. I would probably order more sitting in but do not enjoy the atmosphere so I order to go.

I have got to tell you! This restaurant and the owners, down right A+ rating. The food and the hospitality is spot on! For all of the readers that read this who have never experianced the real side of West Virginia food, your in for a treat. Try the Big Sam Sandwich, the onion rings are to die for where the fries totally will marry any meal nicely! For all of you who don’t get to stop here and enjoy the A+ amazing Italian home cooked foods, you have totally not lived. You have not lived untill you eat here, especially the Big Sam Sanwhich! Order anything from the menu, you will be surprised to taste the bold flavors or greatness! This is the real Country Roads Mountain Momma Almost Heaven eats hidden away up there in Gods country. Take a drive, won’t you, You will be glad you did! Don’t just order one sandwhich or plate, get one to go, if not you would have wished you would have! Take it from me, I have eaten the world at large, and there is just nothing greater that compares to this tasty treat of goodness! I actually know folks who live in the Washington D.C. East Coast areas and all the way from the West Coast who make regular trips back to savor the greatness of some of the best Italian foods ever made! Go for it won’t You!!!

2/26/21. My 9 year old wanted to go some place to eat he has never been. I took him here. Food was great. The waitress was super nice. Only issue is you can tell that people smoke in the hotspot next door. Being a non smoker it has a strong smell and irritated our eyes. We would go back.

Employees have zero brains here. DO NOT order food over the phone for pick-up. They’ll hand it out to someone else. If you dine in, double check your order when you get it, chances are your meat won’t even be thawed out, or your bread is moldy. This place used to be great, I don’t know what happened over the last two years.
