I’ve only been here a few times, but it always first on my mind when it comes to burgers. They have shorter hours, so it’s not always the best for dinner, but perfect for lunch.
I go for a simple double cheeseburger. It’s cooked to perfection, still moist but thoroughly cooked. The bun is simple and lightly toasted which I prefer too.
There fries are super tasty shoestring variety and super crispy but not overdone.
If you want lettuce, pickles or condiments, there is a salad bar for those toppings near the entrance.
It can get busy, so seating always seems like it is going to be an issue but people there are kind and mindful of that and don’t overstay after finishing their meal and there is always a table available.
It’s more of a hole in the wall kind of spot, but I like that and it is fitting for Winder.
The staff aren’t overly talkative or hospitable, but they are apt at getting things done and keeping the line moving/getting food out/ cleaning.
Can’t wait to go again.
This is truly a hole in the wall restaurant. Very old building, the sign in the front is missing, and they did not accept cards of any kind. They do accept cash, venmo, apple pay or cashapp. They have specialty burgers, but with no description of what exactly goes the burger. I ordered the Hells Burger, not knowing was going on it. Looking back, I wish I would have asked the cashier what all came on the burger.
The cashier looked to be a teenager. She wasn’t friendly or rude. She lacked basic customer service and didn’t smile. Our food came out fast and we took it to go. By the time we go home, the fries were so soggy. The burger was “meh.” Not impressed at all. People rave that this place has the best burgers in town, but honestly my burger at Wendy’s the other day had more flavor than the Hells Burger. It’s honestly a glorified greasy burger.
This place wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t come out of my way to dine in again.
Phillys should come with mushrooms, onions and peppers . I don’t know what kind of meat it was but it wasn’t very good had a Werid tatse . Now I will say the smoked chicken salad is hands down the best chicken salad I’ve ever had . It has a Smokey tatse to it and it’s amazing . Everything is separate fries and drink . Now I will say as well the sweet tea is very delicious best I’ve had in town. The fries are home cooked they are good but don’t like that they are all tiny .
