We went to lunch at Casa Victoria with our kids since it’s close by home. Parking was easy to find with enough open spots. The restaurant isn’t very spacious inside but big enough for our big family. We ordered and then sat down and they brought our food to us.

The workers were kind and helpful. I love that there was a salsa bar.

Overall we loved the food but my chicken in my enchilada was cold and I feel like the food could use a little more flavor. My kids loved the cheese quesadillas and beans. The enchiladas were pretty good but again, needed a little more flavor. My favorite was the homemade corn tortillas. Overall pretty good. I will come again and try other things from the menu.

The food here looks to be generally delightful and worth every penny. However, I was disappointed with the Chile Relleno. I brought it to a friend who is a huge fan of Mexican cuisine, and they found it lacking in flavor. The main issue was the cheese; instead of the expected creamy Queso Chihuahua or Asadero, it seemed to be filled with Queso Fresco. It had a chewy, rubbery texture—almost like eating a block of cheese curds—which didn’t pair well with the dish at all.

Very delicious little family-owned restaurant. Super fresh and flavorful and good pricing. We tried the mole plate, a birria taco (REALLY yummy!), al pastor gordita, & pork tamale. Yummy salsas and good horchata! Will definitely eat here again next time I find myself in Provo.

I had the torta with chorizo and horchata. The torta was great, the beans and cheese were a surprise to me but I did not mind it after trying it. Surprises like that don’t come often and I got to enjoy that here. Horchata was good but not the best. The horchata itself was warm and with the addition of ice made an unpleasant mixture of sometimes getting warm horchata and sometimes getting cold horchata. It made me think I had the weather phenomenon El Niño in a cup. I enjoyed it nonetheless.

We stopped by on our way in to an RV park not knowing the area at all. We were immediately greeted by the nicest man. I wish I’d caught his name. He answered questions and took our order at the counter. I got the impression he did the cooking as well because he disappeared and then brought our orders to the table. It was a great meal. I had a chicken smothered burrito and my husband had the birria plate. I wish we were going to be in town long enough to try more of the food. We will definitely stop the next time we come through. I almost forgot- the chips were warm and the salsa was delicious.

I came in with high hopes with all the good reviews, but honestly I wasn’t very impressed. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was pretty well-kept, but it’s pretty small. The food was fine, but nothing really stood out. I think I need to come back and try the tacos, but with so many Mexican restaurants around, it’s not a high priority for me.

First time I’ve ever been here. There will be many more! The food was incredible! We had the Sope and the Gordita and Wow! Both items were incredible! Very authentic food and atmosphere.
*I had to update my review with pictures. We drove 40 miles just to come back again for lunch. The tamales were extremely authentic and the best I’ve ever had. Everything I have eaten here, will keep me coming back again and again.

This was the third time I’ve eaten at Casa Victoria, and each visit has been worse than the last. The service has steadily declined, and the food has become increasingly bland. This final time, I ordered a verde smothered burrito meal and experienced extremely poor service from start to finish.

The most serious issue occurred halfway through my meal when I bit down on what appeared to be either a piece of bone or a small rock. I couldn’t immediately tell what it was, but the damage was clear. It cracked my tooth vertically, and I ultimately had to have the tooth extracted as a result. It was a painful and expensive outcome caused by food that was clearly not prepared with proper care or quality control. After multiple chances and a serious injury, I HIGHLY recommend not eating at this restaurant. The downward trend in both food quality and service is unacceptable.

We got a carne asada burrito with green sauce and cheese/chicken enchiladas. The food was delicious. And service was excellent. The lady we spoke to gave excellent insights into the menu and was kind and helpful. We can’t wait to go back.

I’ve been told about this Mexican restaurant, and I finally made it. It was good. The salsa and chips, although not complimentary, they were good. The nachos were lacking a little bit of flavor and something tasted cold, not bad though. The sope was very good, freshly made. Try the fresh aguas de jamaica and horchata. We also had the churro and ice cream, did not disappoint.
