Very delicious food! Salsa and green chile are spicy but love the freshness! We got ACP and the shrimp version. Both taste great! Huge portions! However, the sauce on top of rice was too overwhelming. Only a thin layer of rice was given. Didn’t have room for flan but it’s on the menu!

I’ve been here a few times over the past couple of years. I’ve tried different plates and they are hit and miss. Recently, I had the Carne Asada burrito. It came with pico and guacamole. They really didn’t compliment the chile. It would have been better with say, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream even though I’m not a sour cream guy. The red chile was ok. The complimentary chips and salsa were really good. The red had like a roasted flavor. The green was my favorite, kind of hard to explain. However, on the next visit just a couple of weeks later, the green salsa seemed like it was different and just ok. On this visit, I had a Crispy Relleno and a Ceviche tostada. The Crispy Chile Relleno was very good. I’ll definitely be getting one again. The Ceviche tostada was ok. I sat outside as is was a nice calm evening. The service does seem a little slower outside, not horrible though.

The food was great, had steak tacos, shrimp tacos, and carnitas and they were all pretty good, will definitely come back again.
Our party had burrito and enchiladas and they were both very happy with their choices.
Be aware the bowl and cup sizes are not typical from any restaurant so I ordered a bowl. Normally a cup is 8oz and bowl 12oz, but this was more like 32oz. It was very good but a meal in itself!

Casa Sanchez is an absolute gem in Buena Vista! The food was lovely—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was a hit, from the savory mains to the perfectly balanced sides. The drinks were just as amazing—refreshing, well-crafted, and the perfect complement to the meal.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Casa Sanchez is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

We were looking for good food and Casa Sanchez delivered. We were in the area celebrating a friend’s milestone birthday. The food was generously portioned, tasty, and well priced. Half of us got regular margaritas and the birthday girl got a “large” margarita which was an understatement– the large was probably enough for a group to share! They had a free dessert and sang happy birthday. It was so much fun.

I had to calm down just to write this review. I was really pissed and should I left the moment I walked in the door. To start, we were on Main Street and was looking at everything to eat, either the were already closed at 3pm or it wasn’t the type of food we wanted or too pricey, so we googled Mexican food and found this place, it had great reviews so we decided to try it.
As we drove up, I wasn’t impressed at all, looks like a shack, and usually when I see restaurants that look that way it means they are not great inside nor is the food. But after looking at so many places and getting hangry we decided to go in and check the menu. As soon as we walked in it was hot! They had fans but they weren’t turned on. We sat down to look at the menu, the waiter was not friendly, I felt a bother to him.
We decided to stay and just sit outside even though it’s 85 degrees because it had a breeze and was able to sit in the shade which was better than inside. Also just was hangry and wanted to get eating over with and didn’t want to keep looking even though we hated the vibe and everything about the place, sounds stupid I know but when you’re already hangry and pissed about being in a dump nothing helps. So We ordered veggie burrito and fajitas, the portions were big, the burrito was nothing thrilling, filled with frozen veggie mix, the black beans were dry as hell. My husband also didn’t like his fajitas either, I took a few bites and gave up, I’d rather not eat than eat that. We hated to give them any of our hard earned money. But we paid for our meal and got the hell out of there. I would NEVER go there again or recommend it to anyone.

Definitely stop by! If an establishment gives out free chips and salsa, that’s a huge one up! The Good Margarita was perfect! Steak Fajita Burrito was huge! Glad we decided to share.

This was the perfect dinner after a relaxing day at the hot springs. Our margaritas were great. All of the food was delicious. We appreciated the two salsas with house chips. Highly recommend the queso dip!
