*Update to original post: I just noticed a price difference in my ticket given at the table ($15.11), the ticket at the register ($15.09), & the amount I was charged ($15.61). There is a notice on my receipt saying I would’ve saved 52 cents using cash. When looking at my receipt, I can now see where it shows “credit price” & “cash price”. The sign on the door says you receive a discount for paying cash, it doesn’t say there’s a fee for using credit. So full disclosure to those using credit cards, you will be charged over a 3% fee. There’s a photo of the sign on the door. I don’t like sneaky. Be upfront about fees. Don’t try to trick me by saying it’s a discount for using cash, if it’s actually a fee for not using cash. I definitely won’t be back now. The 1 star is for the poor service (was 2 stars) & for how they did the card fee. I usually pay cash at small businesses so they don’t have to pay the fee, but I was tired & automatically used my card that day. I should’ve read it better before signing. I thought it was tax, but it was the fee. Lesson learned.

The food was good, not great. I had the Burrito Samantha & a taco. When asked if I wanted cheese or red sauce, I chose cheese, on the side but was told it had to be on it & either cheese or red, or nothing at all. I chose nothing. The wording for the Burrito Samantha made it seem like the sour cream, shredded cheese, tomatoes, & lettuce were wrapped inside the tortilla, but no, it literally was topped with the ingredients. It came with rice & beans, which were good. The taco had plenty of shredded cheese. The chips & salsa were good. The service was lacking, seeing there were only 3 tables of patrons there. A customer at another table received the wrong order (chicken strips instead of corn dog) for their kid. The server seemed harried & forcing a smile, so she may have just been having an off day. The male server who brought my food was extremely polite & friendly. He didn’t give the “hot plate “ warning as they usually do, & I touched the hot plate. My fault. Two times there were customers who came in for takeout & weren’t acknowledged for quite some time. Maybe the restaurant is short staffed. Maybe they’re just getting their feel of things. Whatever is going on didn’t impress me enough to want to return. I was going to get some horchata & sopapilla but the server was rarely around. She did come by & ask if everything was okay, as I was chewing, so I nodded & smiled. This is not the way the food was when I was in Mexico, so if you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, this isn’t it. This is basically the same as the rest of the American Mexican restaurants. Like I said, it tastes good, just not great. I did tip my server 20% because $3.00 wasn’t going to break me & I was trying to be nice. Others seem to like this place, & that’s great. Hopefully they’ll do well.

At *Casa Samantha*, the tacos blew my mind . The two soft‑shell tacos were loaded with seasoned meat, fresh onion, and cilantro on crisp corn tortillas. A lime wedge gave a bright finish, and the side salsa added an extra punch. I’d give it *★ 5/5* for flavor, freshness, and overall experience. Definitely coming back for more!

I was told they also own the food truck on Dollarway Road, so I was so excited to come in and see their new establishment. The food was amazing! I love the atmosphere, sat at the bar, and got service within 10 minutes of sitting down. I ordered one of their signature drinks, but without tequila because it came with Crown Royal as well. She gave me a margarita with no liquor in it at all. After tasting it, something wasn’t right, there was no liquor in it. She then proceded to tell me thats what I asked for and I had to show her on the menu that it does come with other liquor. I belive with more training she will be a great bartender, amzing smile and personality she just doesnt know how to make drinks nor knows her menu. Other than that, The food and atmosphere were amazing deffinetly recomend this place!

Excellent Mexican food! Very clean interior and great vibe inside. There are multiple TVs with access to football games and sports so always something to watch and the prices and service are great. Will definitely come back.

The ground beef in my stuffed pepper was not seasoned and there was not enough cheese on top so it was kind of dry. I do not like you are punished for using a card by paying more if you don’t have cash. We live mostly in a cashless society, it’s 2026.

My daughter and I went tonight for the first time tonight. Service was great! The food was good. We were not a fan of the salsa but liked the cheese dip and guacamole. We enjoyed our entrée. Yes I would eat here again.
