With our Vegan, Dairy Free & Coeliac menus, all developed here, we have something for everyone Our ever popular 1, 2 or 3 course Express Happy Hour menu is priced at £9.25, £13.50 & £17.75 respectively. It is served every lunchtime 11.45-2pm, 5-7pm Mon/Fri, 5-6.00 & all afternoon Saturday from 11.45-6.00 For larger groups, the party menu is designed for ease of choice & there’s no hassle like having to pre-order. Excellent food. Risotto and Bolognese off the Happy Hour menu, along with Dough sticks and a goats cheese appetiser, which were both excellent! Service was perfect. Quiet and friendly with an upscale feel, without the price tag. Would definitely recommend!

anytime we’re in carlisle we will stop here, it’s just unbelievably good. HUGE vegan and GF menus, really great portions and so affordable. the food is delicious, staff are so so friendly and welcoming, service is top tier. we went for my fiancé’s birthday and they surprised him with a slice of (just so delicious) chocolate tart (this was also vegan friendly!!!!!!). unmatched. please come here if you get the chance/are in the area. i love it!!!!!!!!

Brilliant. Initially couldn’t fit me in as they were packed but managed to sort a table for me after a short wait. Really extensive menu, loads of gluten free options, good portions and well priced. What’s not to love. Fabulous dining room too.

I went here yesterday with my daughter. We didn’t have a reservation booked but we got a table anyways. The service and food and price was great. If only you knew how fussy my daughter was, she got the Meatballs and she said they were the nicest she’d had! I got a mini pizza with salad, the salad was amazing and so was the pizza!

Food was good. Tasty as always. Fresh, enough on your plate and we ate it all. It’s recommended you book as it gets busy and full quickly. Staff were friendly and tried their best. I think their covid prevention methods need a little more work (possibly seated too near others) but they did take our number for track and trace.

Visited recently for late lunch. As soon as we entered, I observed the very welcoming, friendly atmosphere, and the service we received resulted in the same. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t blown away by the food itself as I found the garlic pizza bread very greasy and too thin. However, I’d return again and try something else on the menu

Tried this place tonight for the first time after a recommendation from carlisle cathedral, and I wasn’t disappointed the food was delicious and the staff were very polite.The restaurant itself was very busy for a Wednesday evening which made the atmosphere all the more welcoming , I will definitely be back when visiting carlisle.

This is our 2nd time eating out here. Good place. Will definitely go again. Some plates were absolutely lovely some were a bit faded but overall was a good night. Though it wasn’t a particularly busy evening, there was a longer than expected wait time for drinks and we had 2 extra coffees added to our bill, which we never ordered. So keep your eyes open when you get the bill.
