We drive an hour round trip to eat Casa’s delicious pizza! The garlic parmesan knots are an amazing starter and we get them every time we go. The Detroit style pizza is amazing and is highly recommended. Frico is always on point! We usually get a New York style but tonight tried the 80’s Springfield football crust with the cup & char pepperoni and it was tasty!
So much passion and skill at this pizza shop and it shines in their food! Always impressed. This is a Western Mass hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and go try some of the many styles of pizza produced here!

The girl who handed me my pizzas was friendly. I was a bit disappointed with the food I ordered online. I made sure to arrive on time since I knew they were closing shortly. I live probably three minutes by car from this place, and when I got home, one of the pizzas was cold and looked like it had been sitting a while. The other pizza looked great, but it was really salty. The first time I tried their pizza, I ordered the Asian pizza, and it was great . I tried something different this time and didn’t really like it. I feel I should go back because they have a great reputation. Maybe it was what I ordered.

This was my first time ordering Casa and it was incredible! Fast and friendly service even while busy, and the New York style pizza nearly brought me to tears, I haven’t had a more perfect dough. Make sure garlic knots are included in your order. Thanks to the staff for a 15/10 experience.

As someone from the Chicagoland area, I have been missing the taste of an authentic Chicago style deep dish. While the $35 price tag was mildly concerning, I was desperate and went for it. It did not disappoint. Starting with the look, it was a beautiful pie (see image) and it smelled amazing. And the taste matched the look. The sauce was the perfect blend of mildly sweet and savory with a velvety texture. The crust and dough was light without feeling filling, with a slight crisp on the outside and the inside was a bouncy and provided a pleasant chewing experience. The cheese was just amazing (it speaks for itself). I’d say it gives some Chicago places a run for their money, but that’s an understatement–its better than most. All that to say is, this pizza is nearly perfect save for it’s price tag.

9.5/10.

Our absolute favorite pizza shop! Any crust style you can imagine with high quality ingredients! My all time favorite the New Haven Margherita and the cheese stuffed garlic knots.

The New York and New Haven style crusts are delicious crispy pizzas! I’ve also had a couple of the pan pies, which were sooo good. The pizzas come out cooked to perfection and the special pepperoni has so much flavor ! You can really tell the difference between this pizza other pizzas in the area. I would rate it 10 stars if I could! Lovely little family business with great service and even better food!!

Now let’s talk pizza! We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza on a New York crust and a pepperoni pizza on a New Haven crust. The buffalo chicken was more “buffalo-ish” than truly bold in flavor—it didn’t quite hit the way we hoped. The pepperoni pizza was the winner of the two, with a great sauce, though the pepperoni itself didn’t pack much flavor.

The real issue here is the price. Two large pizzas came to a whopping $77.28, which is far too high for what you get. While the pizzas were good, the value just isn’t there, and it’s hard to justify that kind of price point for a casual pizza night.

Overall, Casa Pizzeria makes a good pizza, but man, that price stings.

Worth a trip across counties. On my first visit I tried the New Haven style with pepperoni, hamburg, olives, and sausage and onions. The pepperoni was amazing and the complimentary basil and spices added lots of flavor. The crust was thin and crunchy the way pizza is supposed to be.

I’ve also ordered the New York, Grandma, Chicago, Detroit, Sicilian, Bostonian, Montanara, Old Fashion New Haven, Bianca(white pizza), The Amazing Asian, and Springfield style. Most of their pizzas are prepared Old Fashion style, with the cheese on first, and the sauce on top.

The New York has a thin crust with puffy edges.

Grandma style is a pan cooked pie with a rich, crispy, and flavorful crust. It’s very filling.

Sicilian is similar to Grandma but the crust is thicker and less rich.

The Bostonian is like a New York pizza with the cheese underneath the sauce. Having the cheese under the sauce brings out the oil and taste as it cooks, and having the toppings under the cheese gives it a unique texture.

Similar to the Bostonian is The Old Fashion, which has the cheese on the crust and the sauce on the cheese. When it cooks the oils are absorbed into the crust and they mix with the complimentary spices, creating a tasty glaze. The Old Fashion New Haven is amazing.

The Detroit deep dish can be likened to a thick slice of hearty Italian bread baked with cheese, sauce, and spices. The edge of the crust is crunchy while the inside is fresh and chewy. Pan-cooked with cheese in the crust, it’s very satisfying.

The Springfield Style is my favorite of their non-Old Fashion pizzas; it has a bolder sauce and I hope it stays on the menu.

I’d rank their top 5 pizzas this way:

1. Old Fashion New Haven
2. Springfield
3. Grandma
4. Montanara
5. Sicilian

Casa’s signature is complimentary herbs, quality ingredients, and consistency – every pizza I’ve had tastes fresh and like it was made from scratch. Best pizza in Western Mass, no contest.

First time trying after several recommendations. The pizza was amazing. Far exceeded expectations. Had the Bostonian Combo which was delicious, the crust was great and it was cooked perfectly. It’s a 20 min drive (40 roundtrip) and well worth it. This will be our new go to over our other spots for sure. Looking forward to trying the other varieties. Staff was super friendly and very efficient and the pizza was ready to go when I arrived. Can’t wait for the next time.

Stopped by Casa Pizzeria. Its a 2hr trip, so don’t get many opportunities. I still feel the people of Ludlow have a quality pizzeria in their backyard. They win major pizza contests for a reason, go see for yourself. This was a really good pizza again and the garlic parmesean wings are great as well. If you’re in western mass you need to give Casa Pizzeria a try. I’ve gone with a large NY Style meat lovers minus hamburg everytime. Good amount of toppings, cupped pepperoni and flavorful. Good cheese coverage and the sauce was excellent. The dough is perfect and had a great crunch. Portnoy was likely a little low on the score. With a name like Jimmy Casapizzaiolo would you expect anything less than pizza perfection. ‍♂️ Dinning room was closed on my last visit, take out only. No paper plates or Napkins. Kind of a head scratcher for a place charging a premium. Definitely not a cheap pizza, but you get what you pay for.
