Mr Food Inspector
I been going to casa since they where on 122nd and penn I honestly feel like the food used to be so much better, it wasnt bad but it wasnt what I remembered from 122nd casa perico. The service was food the food was not bad ill even go again and possibly change my rating, maybe it was what I ordered. I ordered the tacos my girl ordered the nachos and her nachos where good thats what ill get next time the burria tacos where kinda sloppy and greasy if thats what you like then go for it but the greasy threw me off other then that the nachos where pretty good.

Unique menu and flavor plus an abundance of cheese!!!

Let me say this upfront: $4.99 for a pint and a half of draft Mexican beer! The Mangoritta had Chamoy and Tajin in it and was delicious. Also that boat size drink was only $9.99!! Don’t miss out on these deals.

Menus sides include not only refried beans but Barracho beans, Mexican corn, and ranchero beans amongst others that you can choose from. Truly surprised at the choices.

Let’s hit the high points. Food was served hot and was delicious. The seasoning used in the refried beans and the shrimp enchiladas is very distinct. It definitely has a Mexican profile but is different than any of the other restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. It’s a good experience not a bad one.

We had the shrimp enchiladas, taco plate and lunch size portion of beef fajitas and I can say everything arrived quickly. Considering the place was jammed packed it was great to get prompt service.

Now the down side…

FIX YOUR AIR-CONDITIONING!!! Eating there was like eating in a sauna. It was definitely hotter inside than outside. I’m assuming this is an anomaly and not the way the restaurant keeps its temperature. At least I hope so because it’s like eating in a restaurant in Juarez Mexico; hot, very hot.

The only food things I can speak badly of is the tortillas and queso cheese served with the tortilla chips before dinner. The queso is thin with little flavor and runs more off your chip than stays on. The tortillas used are store bought and not made onsite because they are way think and chewy. Maybe you like that kind of thing and I’m not judging you if you do.

I’ll be returning again, probably in the fall when it’s cooler but you don’t wait, go today!

We’ve been to this particular location twice and have had good experiences both times. Their menu is limited and repetitive, in my opinion, and not many options for people who can’t or don’t want to eat tortillas/bread.

They have a small bar you can sit at and offer outside seating as well. Very colorful inside, clean restrooms, and comfortable atmosphere. They have three large TVs so you can catch a game or two while you enjoy your meal!

We love Casa Perico! I moved to Colorado over 10 years ago…but every time I come back to Oklahoma… Casa Perico is a must eat!
If you are looking for yummy food, a clean comfortable environment and the best service that’s super friendly….come to Casa Perico.
It’s always a win! Comfort food and flavors that make a mouth happy! Can not say enough great things about this place. So happy they opened this second location! All the yummy!
The set up with chips, salsa, and queso! Yes please! Add the relish and some tortillas! Mmmmmmmmm

I’ve had a few things here. They always come out with a starter of chips and salsas. I had them mole, it was pretty good. A been on the pricey side for me but that’s just where the industry is heading. They do have a pretty good happy hour for food and drinks

I picked up my order, it was quick and ready when I got there. The staff was polite but the place was dead. However, the food was really not good. I got the platter with a sample of a few things and only the Quesadilla and fried peppers were okay the rest was either gross or dry, or both. I don’t know if I was unlucky but I don’t plan on returning.

Some of the tables seems small for a party of four but they made accommodations for us and we appreciate it that and the staff were nice and kind. I’m quite sure we will be back food….fantastic

Just left from a dinner with my family here. The gentleman ensured I would have a table for our party as other places were pretty tight tonight. The service was phenomenal and the food was excellent. We’ll be back for sure!

We have been going to the Penn location for years. This location has a nicer atmosphere, but the food wasn’t as good as the Penn location. The service was good and the menus of the two locations are identical. I’m sure we will return. Hopefully the food gets a little better over time to match the quality of the location on Penn.
