We stopped in for some quick dinner before driving back down to Norfolk and we were so pleasantly surprised! From the moment we walked in the door, everyone was kind and considerate, our server was very knowledgeable and informative and the food was obviously thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was lovely and bright, the restaurant itself was noticeably clean and comfortable. After asking some questions, I had a glass of sparkling rosé that perfectly complimented the fresh raw oysters we ordered. Then we tried the shrimp toast (perfectly crispy on the outside, pleasantly soft in the middle) and then two tacos. The fried chicken taco was a perfect blend of crunchy veggies in the pimiento coleslaw and tender crispy fried chicken and the tortilla was even perfectly grilled, adding yet another layer of flavor to the whole experience. Same with the grilled swordfish taco, the layers of flavors from the torn herbs and radish were so perfectly paired and well thought out. Overall we were very impressed! My only regret was not getting to try some of the craft cocktails on their list!

The food was great, the atmosphere was great and the service was great! Absolutely recommend checking this place out! We were in town to visit some attractions and wanted a nice dinner to celebrate an anniversary. Casa Pearl was perfect! Casual but sophisticated. Upscale but not pretentious. Would consider making the 2 hour drive again just for dinner.

This was an interesting little place. The food was amazing. The raw menu could have been a little more clear with quantities. Our server was very attentive and was able to accommodate my food allergies. Our food for the evening: dozen oysters on the half shell, swordfish tacos, pork tacos, scream corn (soo good!), and the Brussels sprouts. We definitely didn’t leave hungry! And the dessert…. OH. MY. GOODNESS! We had Keylime Trifle and it was probably the best I’ve had in years!

This was my Father’s Day choice for dining, and was I spot on. The decor, service and drink/food were simple AMAZING. Drinks were the perfect starter for our smoked fish dip and BBQ Chicharrons. The Minnie Pearl oysters with salmon roe along with the salty oysters made my day. But the icing on the cake was the whole flounder, cooked to perfection and the numerous taco’s. I can’t say enough good things about this place, you have to come and give it a try. Who knows I probably will see you there as I plan on going back soon and often.

Another one of those “stupid good” places. Put this on your list to check out and if you’re reading this looking for a place to grab a bite today, just stop looking and pick this place. Got here at 3:55 and there was a long line waiting for it to open on a Saturday. They got everyone in and the service was still top notch, fast and friendly. Thanks for the great meal! I’ll be back.

I had been wanting to try this place after watching Sous Chef Ileana give it her all to impress Gordon Ramsay on the 21st season of Hell’s Kitchen, and I was not disappointed when I dined in on the evening of February 10th, 2023. The food was absolutely amazing, and my best friend and I really enjoyed our courses. My bud Justin loved the oysters and the fried plantains, and everything was just downright delicious! The atmosphere of the restaurant was very homey too. Our waiter was nice and the service was exceptional. Will be returning soon with family for a birthday.

Awesome! Not much to dislike about this place. Loved the vibe, friendly/knowledgeable service from the entire crew especially Michael at the bar, and delish fresh seafood-forward dishes plus great drinks and even Cava on tap.

This place is amazing, food was so fresh and wait staff attentive and friendly. The black seabass was perfectly cooked and seasoned. So good! Came with brussels underneath and slaw on top and was well worth dealing with the bones. The margarita was made from fresh lime juice and homemade grapefruit and jalapeño bitters…unique and delicious.
