I was very nervous about moving to Washington due to very large difference in food, but Casa Mia restored that. It was my first Italian restaurant inside Washington and I was not disappointed one bit. There’s a reason it’s an award winning restaurant.

Service was fast and servers were very friendly, amazing pizza and other authentic italian food, very nice mood to the restaurant as well.

10/10 Consider me a regular now

Amazing pasta, was full of flavor, with a full plate. Our waitress was very kind and only came by to check on us which was perfect for me and my fiance. My only complaint would be not enough people inside!
Quick, delicious, and only 60$ even with us taking home so much leftovers!!

Great place for a quiet dinner. Good food and Atmosphere. Fresh made pasta dishes served piping hot. Service was excellent. I would recommend for a date night.

You can’t go wrong eating here. If you’re on a budget, the all you can eat spaghetti is only $10.99, comes with 2 huge baguettes, and tastes amazing. You can also change up which sauce you get on your additional plates. The kids pizza is HUGE and could easily feed a full grown man. I really enjoyed eating here.

Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids dined on Saturday night at 8:45pm (they close at 10). The waitress was not rude, but the service was really awful. She brought out the wrong appetizer then blamed it on the cook. Later she came back and said she realized she put our appetizer in someone’s to go order, and gave us the to go order’s appetizer. She brought out the pizza I ordered and then told us that the cook accidentally made 3 pizzas instead of 2 pizzas and 1 pasta. She asked if we still wanted the pasta. Um, yes, we do- that missing pasta was for my 11 year old.

She finally brought out the appetizer (after she brought out the pizza) and it’s artichoke fondutta but it doesn’t have anything to dip it in. We also realize at this point we don’t have any silverware. She drops it off so abruptly that I had to wait 5 minutes for her to return to ask. She said she told the cook the appetizer is supposed to come with flatbread and supposedly it’s coming out.

My pizza (don’t recall the name, but it supposedly won an award at a pizza competition) was bland and had no seasoning. I only ate 2 slices from the $20 size small. My daughter’s pizza was cut very oddly.

Finally about 15 minutes after the rest of us received our food, they bring out my youngest daughter’s pasta. There was cheese hanging all over the side of the bowl, not a care about presentation.

Aside from the first 5 mins, we were the only customers the entire time. This would’ve been 2 stars but the waitress did comp our appetizer and my daughter’s pasta without me asking. The place is very cute and could have potential but they really need to train their staff and season their food.

Still the best caprese salad I’ve had in years! Pesto and lightly sun-dried tomatoes. Pizza was also definitely something I’d go back for. The tortellini was average. A lovely little fountain in the sun room.

Great beer selection for an Italian place. Festival sausage was excellent, if a bit too rich for me. We’ll be taking a nap this afternoon! Most of the cost was for drinks. Plates were ~20 each.

We showed up just as they opened. We tried a variety of dishes. My favorite was the asparagus and prosciutto starter, sweet, salty, savory could all be words used on this dish. We ordered the torino pizza, yum and a dish you can get at happy hour from 3-5. Another dish that you could get at happy hour was the artichoke and cheese fonduta dip (has another name but this is how I remember it), it has great cheesiness, I would want more artichoke but that dip and the large pizza size bread to spread it was creamy yumminess with a great cheese pull. The tortellini were also worth the try. Not sure if you want red or white sauce, they have you covered with a half and half. As you can hear from all the food too much for two to each one or (or even two sittings ) and each it these items packed up and traveled well. I did try a bite of each cold and this has been a great meal for under $30.00 for each of us.

I’ve been getting pies from Casa Mia for ages. Potato truffle pie and Strada Susina are my go-to’s. Recently tried one of their newer additions to the menu and it was great too. Service can be iffy, and I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t walked out before without food due to this, but the pies keep me coming back.

I walked in and the lady automatically assumed I was a delivery driver. Which is rude to assume just because I’m black. She didn’t apologize or say anything. Went ahead to usher me in with a really bad attitude. I loved it.
