We just moved to the area and wanted to give this place a try. Our first experience was great. I had the Enchilada Rancheros. 7 out of 10. Very good meat and pepper/onion. Very good quality and flavor except it was a bit too salty, even for a salty dish. It’s one of my favorite dishes so I’ll definitely get it again and update this review one way or the other and if I have to, I’ll just say don’t add salt so we’ll see what happens there. The fresh chips and salsa was nice. Thankfully the chips were hot and not overly salted. Huge win for this place with that. The salsa was pretty dang good.. 9 out of 10. My wife got the tricolor Enchiladas. She enjoyed and could only eat half. 8 out of 10. The refried beans that come with the dishes were normal. The rice was perfect, not dried out or left sitting in a pot somewhere in the kitchen, so I’ll give them a 8 on the rice. The atmosphere was fantastic. The layout, the pictures on the walls, lighting. Everything was very nice. The staff was excellent, super friendly and that alone is worth a revisit. I really like knowing the staff where I eat and will always be a repeat customer at places that take the time to know their clients. I dislike how most places just treat you as a number and fake their smiles. I had the Beerita which was fine. 6 out of 10. With the way the beer mixes there should have been a bit less ice and a bit more tequila and lime to keep the flavor and not get watered down. And this is coming from a person that generally does not like Tequila. My wife had the winter Mojito and I did take a sip. It surprised me as it was really good. I don’t do sweet and the coconut milk gave it just enough sweetness that even someone like me would drink this and it was definitely a 9 out of 10. Update. 2/23/26. Got the nachos supreme. A lot of lettuce on top. I really liked that. Also got the street tacos. Legit. Very good. Ask for extra cilantro and the house hot sauce. Meat was well done like maybe a broiler? Perfect for tacos. Ask for Jonathan & Juan. Ask them to make you a house, classic margarita or an Old Fashioned!!

We ordered via DoorDash for my son’s birthday when we were at Great Wolf lodge. Our entire order was wrong: my son’s quesa w beef and cheese had no beef, my fajitas were missing tortillas, my husbands three enchilada trio was completely missing. No utensils and the way they packed everything? My fajitas went everywhere and the juice spilled over into my son’s food. Extremely disappointed. There’s a receipt on the order and if they had checked, they would’ve known things were missing. At the very least, they could’ve packed things with care.
The icing on the cake was that I paid extra for shredded cheese and as you can see, the cheese has MOLD. Doordash refunded my order but this is a safety issue. I will be following up with the proper channels to report this restaurant. This is not ok and I can’t be the only person experiencing this.

Amazing experience. My wife and I had dinner earlier tonight. We had an appetizer, entrees and dessert. The food was exceptional. Fresh ingredients and the portions were the right size. Our server, Isaac, was great. He was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely return.

We had a great dinner. Our waitress Lizzy was very attentive. Our food tasted fresh including the Chimichangas. My wife really enjoyed her Mojito. Our dessert of chocolate-filled churros rocked! The redecorated interior was bright and inviting. The only suggestion I have is to not differentiate between a cash and “non-cash” or credit card price. I haven’t seen this in years. It feels old-fashioned. Otherwise, we had an excellent time!

We had an excellent time at the bar this evening! Food was excellent and came out quick. Drinks were to die for! Our bartender Sam made us a phenomenal variety of margaritas and shots, and her service was prompt. Definitely recommend!

It was our first time here today. We had to go to Crouch funeral home and I wanted to take my girls here for lunch and margaritas. What an amazing place. Our waiter, I believe Israel was his name and his mother are amazing people. The food was the best I’ve had anywhere around. We will definitely go back.

So ordered food to go on 6/19/25. Wanted 3 orders of Arroz con Pollo and 1 order of chicken chimichangas. Before I went to pick it up I thought that the price I’d been told was too little for the order, so I called back. They only had 1 order of the Arroz con Pollo. So they added the 2 more, totalling $73 for the entire order. Got the order and 2 of the Arroz con Pollo orders were really small, still able to see the metal bottom of the tin, small. And I found 2 pieces of shrimp in mine. I don’t have a seafood allergy, but that could be a problem for someone who does. The food tasted fine, except the 2 bags of chips were also stale . The price was a lot for what we got. I likely won’t order from there again. Photos: you can see the bottom tin of Arroz con Pollo looks to be half the order of the top one (two were of that smaller size), and you can see one of the shrimp pieces from mine. Disappointed.
Post Review: So the owner emailed with me wanting to make the experience my family has with the takeout food right. He said he would replace the 2 subpar meals for free. So tonight I ordered takeout again. I went in and spoke with Diego about the experience back in June. They really wanted us to come for a meal in the restaurant but that wasn’t currently able to happen. The food was great, the chips were fresh, the quantities were good. We also got 2 more meals and some guacamole. So I will say that this local, family-owned restaurant has redeemed itself in my eyes. Anyone can have an off day, but they strove to make it right. And that will keep me coming back.

So after seeing the previous reviews there was what you call a false hope that management/ownership might have made some improvements. As many reviews previously stated food is average at best. Bland and really not Mexican food other than the names of items. DINERS BEWARE, when you choose to use a credit card they even make you pay their fee to be able to accept that form of payment! Let’s be clear this is not anywhere near good enough a restaurant to offer card payments for you to have to pay that cost.
