Probably the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. Nothings fancy, a basic setting with a family friendly feel. The menu has everything you would expect, and the food came out delicious. the salsa was very good, and the sizzling fajitas sealed the deal. The quesadillas were a bit too fatty but still delicious. The restaurant also carries all kinds of Mexican sodas as well as traditional drinks like horchata. I would’ve given it a deserved five star rating, but the service was slow, and they serve the fajitas with only three tortillas, and you have to wait for extra tortillas to be made on the spot, which is at least a five minute wait. I wish they start serving the fajita platters with five tortillas instead. Overall I recommend this place and we’ll definitely come back for more soon!

Food was OK, nice size portions pretty bland as far as flavor. Service, we got our food and didn’t see our waitress again. Wanted condiments got none, only had one drink stood thirsty. I had to wave someone down for a check. Won’t be back.

Very authentic Mexican food and family environment restaurant. I had the fajitas which came out steaming and crackling. I was so hungry I forgot to take photos of the food. The salsa they serve with the chips is the best I’ve had in the Tampa area, it actual has a nice spicy kick to it, I loved it. Very friendly staff and service was great, the fajitas is worth the money, I could barely finish all three tortillas provided.

My daughter and I attempted to eat here roughly 4 pm one day this week based upon all the reviews we saw online. Upon entering what we thought was the restaurant, we realized we were in the grocery store, they redirected us to another set of doors that had the same look to the ones we entered, so a little confusing. Upon entering, there were two ladies standing behind the counter, there was a TV blaring with volume all the way up and business was empty and dark. So I asked if they were open and they caught an attitude right off the bat, then she pointed for us to go seat ourselves, no greeting or kindness exchanged in the least. Confused, my daughter and I grabbed a table. Shortly thereafter one of the multiple staff who were eating in the dining room approached us and spoke in Spanish to us, understanding and speaking a little Spanish, I asked if she spoke English. She then asked if we wanted to order chips and salsa, we said ok, however it was very hard to hear her due to the blaring TV. I politely asked if there was any way they could turn it down a bit, since we appeared to be the only diners as u am pregnant and was having a headache, she said ok. Upon watching her walk to TV, I observed the volume was in the 70’s, watched her turn it down, then turn it right back up. She disappeared into the kitchen. We watched as a couple of Hispanic gentlemen were sat. We observed they were treated very differently than my daughter and I were treated with kindness and greetings from both the hostess and staff, shortly thereafter a couple of the staff gave me and my daughter dirty looks. Upon all of this discomfort and continuous blaring of the TV, we chose it best to leave, as we both were beginning to feel uncomfortable and that our business was not really welcomed. I informed the server on our way out that I had a headache and would need to seek elsewhere to dine, asked if she could please cancel our salsa order. Upon passing the front counter, the lady at the counter began to speak ill of us, assuming I did not understand Spanish. I thanked her and walked out the door. Unfortunately, we never got to try the food, which we were quite disappointed about as we have been doing a tour in the area of Mexican restaurants having moved to the area recently. My young daughter and I love Mexican food and always make that our outing experience, when we are having a day out on the town. The ambience overall was terrible, reminded me of an old broken down VFW stuck in the 80’s. It felt more like a bar hall environment than a family restaurant. There definitely seems to be preferential treatment based on ethnicity, based on our experience. Will not be attempting to revisit this place, one of the worst experiences we have had out dining, very disrespectful and unkind service, and I was honestly so disappointed in how they conducted their service towards me and my 12 year old.

The food is boom (but) the mexican vibe is so not mexican. They take forever to bring you the food, and they don’t even bring you napkins.

Nope, nope, nope! This is definitely not for me. I order an enchilada plate and all I got was soggy corn tortillas folded in half literally with nothing inside, and watery sauce on top, with a few bits of meat on it. Smh. I read good reviews on the food being authentic but In my opinion it’s is not authentic Hispanic food. No way it can be! I had way better at other places and never received an enchilada plate like this. Guess everyone’s taste buds are truly different but this ain’t it. Total waste of money and very disappointed.
