The experience along with the staff was PHENOMENAL! The good, TO DIE FOR! our server, bless his soul, blew me away with his Spanish. For the life of me, I wish I would remember his name. He was very professional and made sure our food and drinks came out to us in a timely manner. This is my spot whenever I go back and visit at Augustine. Even then ambiance was breathe taking. Return visit with Family to this hidden gem in Saint Augustine. Conveniently located down the street from the shops on St George. No wait to get a table for five upon arrival during a busy lunch time on St Patrick’s Day ’23. Delightful and professional service provided by our waitress Maribel. Our food was amazingly fresh and great tasting. Save room for a freshly made dessert treat. Order time and serving time was quick since we were hungry from walking and shopping. The ambiance was relaxing and comfortable for our outdoor dining. Every visit here gets better each time!

We stopped in twice for a quick appetizer and drinks and it was amazing! The guacamole and oysters were DELICIOUS!!! Their hibiscus margarita is was so flavorful! And both times the service was 5 stars our servers were funny, accommodating to my dietary needs and allergies and attentive! No wait time. Pricing was reasonable and worth what we ordered!!

The “Green Burrito” was worth the $16.99 I paid! It was the most delicious burrito I have ever had in my entire life. Now I’m craving it, so I guess I’ll be going back to St. Augustine pretty soon! ***You can ask for “no cheese”, to make it non-dairy or vegan. I’m not sure if the tahini sauce is vegan, but you can ask.

We sat on the balcony and it was wonderful. Friday night live music was very micel and *people watching” from above was just fun. I had a Hibiscus Flowerina which was not sweet and very refreshing. Gabe was a wonderful server! I love that the “chips” that came with the salsa were crunchy Tostadas. (Keep in mind that you pay extra for chips and salsa). I had Camarones al Guajillo. I was worried that it may be too spicy, but it was not!!! Just delicious.

Every time we return to Florida, we make sure to stop at Casa Maya for their amazing chevice. Fish tacos are great too. When you are us St. Augustine, give them a try.

We came after the dinner rush around 8:00pm. The food was so good I forgot to snap some pictures before we ate (sorry). If the weather is nice we prefer to sit outside when we go out to eat. The ambiance for the outdoor seating at Casa Maya was so relaxing! Friendly staff and a great waitress topped off our experience.
