Social Profile:

Our Mexican dishes originated from the regions of Tepatitlan, Jalisco. As a family-owned business, our unique cooking and dishes were taught by our mother, a native to the Jalisco area. Using fresh, authentic ingredients were and still continue to be vital in creating any of our dishes. Authentic Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles, CA aren’t easy to come by. That’s why it was important for our family to bring an original taste of our native land to such a popular, modern location like Santa Monica. We want the community to get a taste of what authentic Mexican food is like as well as taste the various flavors and seasonings that we know so well. We always strive to make every customers’ experience unique and pleasant.

I visited Casa Martin on the 3rd Street Promenade over the weekend and ordered the nachos with grilled chicken and a Coke. The food was delicious, really hit the spot, and the prices were reasonable. The service was warm and attentive, and both easily deserve five stars.

Unfortunately, the atmosphere brought the experience down. The music was so loud I could barely hear myself think, let alone enjoy the conversation. When I asked if they could turn it down, I was told the “office is locked,” so the volume couldn’t be adjusted. It completely overshadowed an otherwise excellent meal.

Fantastic food and service, but the noise level made it hard to enjoy. I’d happily return if they address the volume issue.

Wow!!! The quality was excellent and was true authentic Mexican. It was all so delicious, fresh, and exactly what we were looking for, some great quality food! We were immediately seated and the food came out very quickly. You definitely get your money’s worth with each meal as they have perfect portions for saving some for later aswell. I would definitely recommend stopping by and will be back! Thank you so much

This place has really good food. I ordered the camarones a la diabla. The sauce for sure tasted made in house and had a hint of spice. The rice was also house made I can tell based on my own housemade rice. I really enjoy this place every time I come. I started going to the original spot on Ocean Ave. The service is always exceptional and always look forward to eating here. This is a must try at the 3rd Street Promenade for sure. You will not be disappointed on the food and service.

Absolutely loved our experience at Casa Martin in Santa Monica! The atmosphere was warm, laid-back, and instantly inviting.

Our waiter, Fernando, was phenomenal. Attentive, personable, and genuinely welcoming, he elevated the whole experience. He also crafted an excellent margarita flight—each one unique, balanced, and bursting with flavor. If you’re a margarita fan, this is a must.

And seriously, don’t skip the wet burrito —definitely one of the standout dishes. And the mixed ceviche – must try!

Between the amazing food, the drinks, and Fernando’s exceptional service, Casa Martin is a spot I’ll absolutely be coming back to. Highly recommend.

Came on a Weds for dinner. Wasn’t too busy but pi ked up around 630p. Amicable staff and very quick service. The ambiance is good with patio dining (al fresco) and indoor seating. Nothing special about the food but an extensive list of food and adult beverages. Plenty of parking around. Chicken enchiladas were good, Jamaica drink was also refreshing.

Discovered this place on a busy Sunday sporting event while all other sport bars were fully booked. They do have big TV in the back so can go there if can’t get in to sport bars in Downtown Santa Monica, plus a flavorful Mexican menu and drinks. Follow us on instagram @gemislist

We are frequent guests here, but we will never come back again. We were told that in order to use the restroom, we had to place an order. I bought a bottle of water just to be able to use the restroom. This is inhumane.
