Reviews
Limited seating but there a little dinning area near buy with seat and tables.
Their classic Margherita dazzles with simple yet extraordinary balance—sweet San Marzano tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil leaves, each bite reminding you why Italian simplicity is unmatched. More adventurous varieties like zucchini blossom with anchovy and burrata show Casa Manco’s flair for innovation, offering bright, contrasting flavors that feel both rustic and refined. The seasonal toppings, figs with prosciutto, pumpkin with gorgonzola, or roasted pear with pecorino, highlight the kitchen’s creativity and devotion to fresh market produce.
Even the vegan options burst with flavor, thanks to quality olive oils, grilled vegetables, and aromatic herbs. Whether you prefer traditional or bold modern pairings, every slice at Casa Manco reflects a passion for dough, balance, and freshness. Making it one of Rome’s truly unmissable pizza experiences.

I can’t rank all of them cause they were all good. The bread was crunchy, airy and chewy as well. The cheese was rich, creamy and incredibly fresh.
This was by far the best pizza I’ve had in Rome, even though, I haven’t been here long.
The pizza dough is fairly standard and a bit unusually thick by Italian craft pizza standards, yet it provides a solid base for what comes on top. Since I noticed they were using supermarket pesto (Metro Chef), I believe they focus more on creative toppings rather than crafting every ingredient themselves, which is -in my opinion- a valid approach that deserves appreciation. The only comment is that it was a little overpriced compared to whole pizza pricing (€14 for the ones you see in the picture).
We walked from the city center just to try it, and overall, I can say it was worth it!
On a recent trip I had lunch here on my first day in Rome and on my last day. Need I say more?
By the way, it looks far, but from the historic center it’s only about a 35 or 40 minute walk, and you can go past the Bocca della Verita and through the Aventine Hill along the way. Recommended. I’ll be back. A la prossima!
