We are from South Texas where homemade tortillas are served at every Mexican restaurant. It has been such a struggle to find homemade flour tortillas here in Utah. The ones we have found are made very thin and harden quickly. Not at this place. The flour tortillas are homemade, fluffy, and huge! I had the fajitas, which were also delicious and so is the rice and beans. My husband had the chorizo and egg plate, he loved it. I’m pretty sure this is our spot. The prices were also good. Felt like we were back home.

Was told it wasn’t great. My daughter and son in law and I decided to see for ourselves. The food was yummy, the service was very good. Very clean small resturant. Prices were great for what we had. We all took our leftovers home. Daughter’s husband even bought salsa to go home. I was happy it was just like the real Mexican food we all like in Mexico.

Really enjoyed this place! The food was really good and the service was very fast. Very nice atmosphere, not busy at all. They DO NOT serve alcohol, I was a little confused about this – in case you were wondering.

Morelia had been one of our favorite restaurants for as long as it was it was there! We went Saturday night to check out the new restaurant in there, Casa Linda. The service was good. The food was wonderful. We ordered two cheese, enchiladas, smothered, in chili Verde, rice and beans, a hard shelled chicken taco, one cheese enchilada smothered in chili Verde, one chile, re rellano, and an order of churros. Of course we also had their house chips and salsa. Everything was really good. Casa Linda will now be right up there on the list as one of our favorite Mexican restaurants.

Very accommodating as they made room for a party of 12 instantly. Food was fantastic as most of my party ate all of their food. Youngest kids even liked the salsa. Service there was awesome and highly attentive always coming back with things needed and replenishing without needing to ask. This place has food better than most high end Mexican restaurants in Utah.

This is just an average Mexican restaurant. I’ve been here twice getting two different things. Chimichangas and chile verde burrito. Nothing here was bad. It’s just average. The salsa was fresh made. Tasted like a fresher version of picante sauce. The prices are good too but there’s nothing memorable about the experience. In comparing with other Mexican restaurants that I have been to I would say La Puente is just a little bit better and La Cucos and the blue iguana and red iguana are leagues above.

Went here with a friend recently for dinner. It’s a small place, which I loved. Chips & salsa was really good! We both really liked the salsa! Service was quick! I ordered two cheese enchiladas. They were okay, not my favorite, but it might have been the red enchilada sauce for me. I prefer green sauce in general for enchiladas. My friend ordered one Chile relleno and one Chile Verde enchilada. She really liked the Chile Verde enchilada. It was her first time ordering the Chile relleno, so she didn’t have anything to compare it to but said it was okay. Beans & rice were pretty typical. Cool to try but I didn’t love it enough to go back soon. I would however buy their salsa to go!

This was a great experience at Casa Linda!! The chips and salsa are 10/10 and the service was top of the line. I asked for more chips and salsa and 30 seconds later they returned with them. The second my water ran out, the waiter was at my table with a refill. The restaurant is a small quaint building but it allows the servers to stay attentive to everyone and do a good job. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and they were made quickly and they were delicious!! I will 100% be returning!!

The food was really good. I had the carne asada with enchilada and it was really good. The service was fantastic. We used to go to the old restaurant in the same building all the time and I’m excited that this was great and will definitely be returning!

Tuesday Lunch Special – Smothered Chile Verde Burrito which includes chips & salsa (nice heat), fried beans & rice was great. Warm, inviting staff in a clean comfortable environment made the short wait for my food pass quickly.
Food was very good using fresh ingredients (like cilantro garnish), came out hot. Portions were perfect for a single adult and the price highly competitive in this SLC market; less than $13 before gratituity.
Will return to sample other menu items.
