We were given a recommendation from the hotel staff we were staying in to visit this restaurant if we wanted to have a good seafood paella. And they didn’t disappoint us. The paella was very good . I also saw them serving grilled fish that looked pretty good. So we decided to come back the next day for dinner to get fried anchovies and grilled fish and they were amazing. They had live music the next day we went to and the crowd was cheering. Surprisingly it was a Wednesday night not a weekend but it was so much fun. The first time we went they had enough customers but you could empty tables so we were not worried that we might not find a table since we did not make reservations ahead of time. The next day the restaurant was packed and honestly I was worried that they wouldn’t be able to accommodate us since also we went without reservation. But the staff was very nice and was able to get us a table for 2. It was a great meal to end our vacation before heading home.

Very good restaurant with several dining areas, including a nice terrace perfect for enjoying the sea breeze.

The menu offers a large variety of meals, mainly focused on fresh fish and seafood. There are only a few vegetarian options, but the dishes are generally tasty and well prepared.

I highly recommend trying the boquerones al limón, they were excellent. Service was okay, but the staff didn’t seem particularly friendly. The waiter who served us was quite rude and looked like he didn’t enjoy his job. Overall, the food quality is very good, but the service definitely needs improvement to match the restaurant’s reputation.

Enjoy

What can I say? The food here was absolutely delicious! I tried the paella once and was so blown away by the flavor that I had to come back and order it again before leaving. The open-air setting of the restaurant adds such a lovely touch, and the service was impressively fast. Overall, a truly delightful experience from start to finish.

Always a pleasure to have lunch at Casa Juan Los Mellizos when we are in Torremolinos. The food is always good (the fideua is amazing), the staff very professional and the place is clean. Special thanks to Sofiane and Jessy for their big smile and kindness every time we come.

The fried mix was quite good, but unfortunately the two burgers were terrible – they had a strange taste and even the kids refused to eat them. Service was disappointing: during our meal no waiters came to check on us, and each time we wanted a drink we had to walk to the reception to ask for it.

When we decided to take the leftovers home, the waiter simply brought a box to the table and we had to pack the food ourselves – something I’ve never experienced in a restaurant before. It also took 20 minutes just to pay the bill.

Overall, it wasn’t worth the hassle of going there. There are plenty of other seafood places nearby with much better service and atmosphere.

We had high hopes as it looked like a busy traditional sea food restaurant. However it’s average at best . The octopus is bland, reminiscent of a bush tucker trial is it had no flavour and it’s a case of just chewing a swallowing like it’s tasteless rubber. The rosado was fine but the vegetables were cold . The croquettes were lukewarm warm, cooked, but not piping hot though they did have some flavour (paprika I think). The staff were fine but you get no salt oil etc. and the bread was as hard as a brick. All in all it’s the ultimate tourist trap and there’s much better in La Carihuela. Also 2 sets of buskers imposed themselves as we dined, I know it’s a thing but really 2 within 10 mins????

This is a seafood temple for seafood lovers! Delicious food and great service. The restaurant is massive and gets busy really quick so I’d recommend you go earlier if you don’t want to wait.
