Casa Fuego in Gambrills is officially my new favorite hidden gem. It’s a halal Mexican restaurant right off Route 3, and while it may not look like much from the outside, don’t let that fool you. The quality of the ingredients, the seasoning, and especially the sauces are on another level.
We tried the bang bang shrimp tacos, birria tacos, steak burrito, and steak quesadillas — every single item was excellent. The steak was tender and flavorful, the birria was rich and perfectly seasoned, and the shrimp tacos had just the right balance of heat and creaminess. Even the fries stood out, especially with the spicy creamy dipping sauce.
The desserts were just as impressive. The tres leches cake and red velvet were both fantastic.
What really made the experience even better was the owner — local, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell he takes pride in the food and the business. My kids loved it too, which says a lot.
Part of me wants to keep this place a secret, but great spots like this deserve the support. We will definitely be back!

This is my 3rd visit to Casa Fuego! The cashier is super inviting & enthusiastic about engaging with customers. I sat in and watched the same energy with each customer & on the every visit for myself.
The food is reasonably priced and good. I loved the loaded nachos, the chipotle chicken taco, and the birria.
Another plus about this place is the daily menu specials and the convenient parking! Take it from a 3peat customer, give this place a try.

Not sure how long this spot has been open, but the food was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the three taco plate—one chicken, one shrimp, and one birria—and he finished them in no time. I ordered the quesabirria, which was huge and packed with flavor. For dessert, we couldn’t resist the tres leches cake topped with Oreos, and it was the perfect way to end the meal. If you’re in the area, this place is definitely worth checking out, friendly staff and atmosphere!

We drove from baltimore to try Casa Fuego. We got Birria tacos and the specialty taco trio with chipotle chicken & asada! Everything was so flavorful and delicious. Food was ready within minutes after order. The owner was very welcoming & hospitable. 10/10 definitely recommend! We will be back!

Tacos are FUEGO just like the name!! I love the nachos especially with the avocado salsa!! The Birria and shrimp tacos are my favorite but the chipotle chicken and steak are good as well. I love the weekly specials!!

I had an amazing experience at Casa Fuego! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Mexican flavor. Everything is halal, which makes it even better for my family. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, the rice and beans were flavorful, and the portions were generous.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast. The restaurant was clean, with a great atmosphere that makes you want to come back again.

I went to this place on a whim and I’m so glad I did! I ordered a smoky chipotle chicken burrito and it’s delicious. It’s also enormous! The people there are really nice and helpful, especially with ordering since it was my first time. I was even treated with a tostada on the house! Please visit!

When Mexican food is authentic, you can tell and this place is AMAZING! Don’t mind the photos because I couldn’t stop myself from digging in before realizing I should probably take some pics for posterity. Super nice staff and very clean. If you want an AUTHENTIC Halal Mexican spot, check this out. Reminds me of a place in Dallas called Danny’s owned by a Mexican gentleman who kept Halal and I’ve craved something like it since I moved back. The difference is that Danny’s didn’t have Birria and these guys have the best Birria I’ve ever had in a restaurant! This hits the spot!

The owner, Malik, started with a food truck and eventually opened this restaurant. He was extremely kind and patiently explained the menu and his recommendations. He shared his excitement for how he looks forward to the restaurant growing. I tried a signature chicken taco from his menu with chipotle flavor. It came with rice beans and several tacos. The ingredients were fresh, and it was high-quality. It tasted great and I could definitely see myself being a repeat customer. On his opening night, he held a car show and he mentioned he may hold similar future events as well.
