THIS IS the best Mexican food restaurant in Murfreesboro or Tennessee. I will not go to another restaurant.
This is not Taco Bell, it IS authentic Mexican food as one discovers deep into Mexico. You find here delicious plates. Neither myself, or my large family have any resentment trying multiple dishes.
We have called in order over $100 for pick up multiple times! Ever time the food is hot and as ordered.
People who work here seem to love their jobs and it shows in their smiles and the diligently arraignment of food.
Great for a date night and family dinners.

Ordered Shrimp Fajitas in which the menu says that they are sautéed with bell peppers and onions and come with rice, beans, lettuce, Pico and guacamole. Mine came with sautéed celery, carrots, yellow squash and zucchini. Didn’t even taste like fajitas. Server seemed clueless. We were told that at lunch they come with the peppers and onions but at dinner they come with the squash, celery etc. Makes no sense to me but if thats true then the menu should be changed.

Same ole, same ole food. It took two asks to get some water and that arrived towards end of meal. I ordered a a skinny margarita that was not on menu. Upon paying bill at register, I mentioned that I was charged $4 extra for the house/mix margarita I received in lieu of the Skinny margarita I ordered that’s supposed to have fresh. During quick, matter of fact explanation of not getting what I ordered, a guy walked up next to cashier and said , “you got a skinny margarita.” I paid the bill and heard them both discussing “skinny margarita” as they walked off. Of course I won’t be back, but will continue to explore other Mexican food restaurants in Knoxville metro. I love me some good Mexican food!

After living in Texas for over ten years, I have some high standards when it comes to TexMex. And this spot delivered! Came to dinner to meet up with my brother and he randomly chose this brilliant spot. It looks, sounds and seems like a classic TexMex. We had a pitcher of seriously good margaritas on the rocks that were MUCH more potent than I expected. You were warned. The bottomless chips and salsa were tasty. The server was brilliant. And, I especially liked the special dinner plate. It came with just about one of everything! Taco, rice, refried beans, enchilada, tamale, and something else I can’t recall. I could hardly eat it all and it tasted great. I would definitely come again in the extremely odd likelihood that I ever return to Lenoir City.

1/3/26 update: Not as good this time. Service was lacking. Food was bland. Portion sizes not as generous as my previous review. Had the Fajitas Taxacans

I asked the waiter if they could do 2 egg beef burritos, but replace the tortilla with egg…not even on the menu he said absolutely. Well found out that the cook had no clue how to make it and the waiter himself made my dinner. By far the best tasting egg beef burrito. Working 10+hrs away from home made me feel like I was back. Also had 3 other people ask what it was and it looked good thank yall so much Definitely need to look into adding it to the menu
