I rarely leave bad reviews but this one I won’t let it pass. . . Casa apresurate should be the name. Never I have gone to a restaurant and felt so rushed, we got there around 730pm when they close at 10pm and the place was fairly empty. Got our order taken and got our food brought got asked once if everything was okay after that we started getting rushed to be done, never got refills offered or brought, no water as soon stopped to talk for a min they waitress already was hounding us to see if we wanted boxes to go, ultimately we say yes because we felt really pressured to go, granted only like 35 mins had passed and she already brought the ticket so we could pay. And I won’t even go into mediocre food, got a burrito grande and the chimichanga the burrito was the same size of the chimichanga so what was grande about it? It had to one half of scoop of meat at best… the chicken in the chimichanga was too dry and stringy.

I got the chicken tortilla soup to go and it was awful I was so disappointed. There was barely anything in it (maybe 1/4 cup chicken and two tiny pieces of bell pepper & that’s it) and they only filled it up 3/4 of the way. It didn’t taste good either. I feel like they thought that since it was a to go order they’d just give me the bottom of the barrel crap and this is so not cool. This was supposed to be my dinner

I think I’m done with this place! Ate there last night (November 2, 2025). Place was pretty much dead. They sat us in the back next to a bunch of loud, college-aged, kids. Why? When most of the restaurant was empty would they do that? The salsa was the most watery salsa I’ve EVER had! Terrible! We ordered the white cheese queso and it had the consistency of milk! Also terrible! Service was lacking (I got one refill and it was when I was almost done eating). Will NOT be going back!

Casa Fiesta Mexican Grill is located near Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. It’s a wonderful restaurant with good food and great service. The atmosphere is very nice too. There’s plenty of seating, both inside and out. It’s beautifully decorated, likely one of the best I’ve seen in Kentucky. All said, the food lacked a bit in flavor but is good enough for a repeat visit.

Been living in Richmond for over 6 months. Upset that I never came here sooner. The barbacoa tacos with consume I got were the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. And the waitress and hostess were very patient with me and my family. We switched from the patio and back inside. They were both very kind.
