Meh. Nothing special. Didn’t leave hungry but portion felt small. We had shrimp fajitas and tamales, both were tasty. Disappointed they didn’t offer complimentary chips and salsa. Place looks like it has seen better times.

We were tired from driving the Long Highway and stopped for a late lunch. We were so glad we did! Our food was excellent and our server was attentive and patient. My blue-corn cheese enchiladas were exactly what I needed and the sopapilla was perfect. My granddaughter’s salad was enormous and full of delicious ingredients–she loved it. As vegetarians, we had no trouble finding a great lunch.

The good was delicious. The combination platter Christmas style was great. We both thought the hatch chili could be hotter. The red chili was smokey. Just delicious.

We both had the BBQ chicken breast! Both Orig. and Honey BBQ sauce were good. Able to get vegetables with it which are greatly lacking in restaurants with entrees. Mexican food entrees looked good but since novices to the spicyness of red or green chili, we stuck with the BBQ. Lots of locals dining there tonight as well as 4 or 5 of Taos’s finest so it must be good!

Wonderful atmosphere on the inside. Servers were very hospitable, kept drinks filled. If one waitress was busy there would be an additional person to attend our needs. They helped out each other. The food was very delicious. It did not taste like they cooked it that morning but rather taste very fresh. This native Texan enjoyed this New Mexican-Mex food. What was also neat was the Bar-B-Cue that they had in the menu.

Excellent brisket, well smoked so really do not sauce, they do have 3 sauces if you want. The German coleslaw was tasty, never had it.
