Well this on was a surprise for me. It’s only the second restaurant/food truck that I have given a five star rating on all aspects I use for my criteria. The seating was very nice with a very nice covering. The staff were all so very nice and helpful. The two street tacos were twice the size of most of the others that I have eaten. And the price point at 2.50 was an exceptional good price. The carnitas have that crisp and the bite that I enjoy. The Al pastor had that orange color and the bite I have come to enjoy. This has been truck #9 and the first time I have done two trucks in a day. This one is a keeper as they also have the other parts of the cow inside’s that they cook. CASA DE MADERA ON FRANKLIN BOISE. Our first time here, we almost missed the food truck as it is in front a car auto/mechanic shop and the food truck itself is black. There is parking by the good truck and also has tables and shade for customers to eat at.
It is quite expensive, we spent $50 for 3 people. We ordered 2 tortas, 1 agua de horchata, 2 jaritos and 3 tacos de asada. The toritllas are handmade fresh, and tacos were absolutely phenomenal . They provide plenttyyy of salsa if you eat there. We went on a sunday around 12 ish/1 for lunch. It was not busy and we got our food within a timely manner and service was great!
We will come again, but probably not as often, as it is a bit expensive. But DEFINITELY recommend as food was delicious!

The best Quesa Birria Tacos ever! They sell out by the afternoon so get them while you can. It does help if you speak Spanish but even if you don’t they are awesome and will figure it out with you! Such a lovely group of ladies! Their food is so good and always hits the spot! Ohh and their hot chocolate (Chapurado) is deliciously delectable.

Absolutely delicious!! We usually have to go to Nampa for tacos as we live in Boise but FINALLY there is a good taco place open on a Sunday to grab a good bite to eat! The homemade tortillas make this place perfect! I absolutely love that the food isn’t greasy at all as well. we usually run into that unfortunately. We will definitely be going back to this new gem!

Absolutely the best meal I’ve had. This family is incredible! Not only did I eat an incredible meal, I had great conversations with them as well!
The Quesabrirra Tacos were perfect- I had no idea they could taste so delicious ! Perfect cheese crispiness with the perfect seasoned and tender meat and all the fixings to add on. The Salsa was so tasty- green and guacamole salsa is what I drizzled. The rices and beans were also perfect, in texture and flavor. And the jello dessert was so yummy! I am excited to come back and eat here again. Also, gonna definitely have Cada de Madera be supplying food for the next office lunch!

This is hands down the best taco I’ve had in the valley.
I did an asada taco as a little appetizer before the asada topped fries and a side of beans and rice. The servings were extremely generous and SO good – I meant to take a photo, but was too wrapped up in the aromas to remember. Honestly, this fed me for three meals and I was happy dancing for every sitting.
The staff were SO kind and very helpful! I live so far from this truck and will absolutely make the drive again.

Wow the best taquitos I have had! The pepino water is amazing! Definitely on the sweeter side but 10/10 Hands down going to come back here again and bring the family! So kind and food is so delicious!

Best tacos in Boise, so far! I can’t claim to have tried every taco place or truck in the Valley, but I’ve tried a LOT between Meridian and Boise, and these guys are the best. Flavorful asada and amazing birria tacos! I love the consume sauce they give for dipping the birria tacos. It’s the perfect balance of flavors and everything has just the right amount of kick. Plus, the people are friendly and they checked my food before giving it to me, catching that they had added onions when I asked not to and fixing it before giving it to me. This is going to be the spot multiple lunches a week, now.
