We were traveling through the area when our hunger started to show up. We were not super optimistic that we would find a decent place to eat, but Casa Caro had excellent reviews. We decided to give it a chance. The food was excellent, and the service was very attentive. They had an exceptionally clean restroom, which is always a good indicator of how clean things are behind the scenes. They have very fair prices, but don’t expect a super cheap meal here. The taste and quality was definitely aligned with the great reviews and fair prices. They’ve got a great view of the lake, and their bar looks very well stocked. They even have some slot machines to try your luck.

Great spot and great people who served us. We got the chicken enchiladas and a shredded beef burrito, along with a mojito and a huckleberry margarita (minus the jalapeño:) ). All was super good and a great atmosphere. We will for sure be back.

Eat here!! Adorable and welcoming spot with DELICIOUS food. I am vegan and the chef accidentally added Parmesan to my veggie burrito (understandable). Waitress was expeditious in correcting the issue and very quick with all her service. Also has a spectacular view of a lake!

Its a real restaurant and not a fast food
They make the nachos and salsa themselves.
Everything was clean, also the restroom, and they were super nice.

Fantastic little Mexican place! Got the shrimp fajitas and al pastor tacos – both were awesome. Salsa is especially delicious and service was great. Easy five stars!

This is the only place worth driving into Seeley Lake to eat. Atmosphere is fantastic, the restaurant is clean and has great seating. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The food is absolutely fantastic. The quality is very good. Flavorful, filling, authentic and it’s the only place around with Mexican food. It’s not greasey either. It’s delicious. I got a steaming hot plate of fajitas, under all the veggies was a heaping pile of steak that a picture doesn’t do justice to.

We drive up from Missoula to eat here. The queso is very tasty. Enchiladas and chili Colorado burrito were both great. Wish they had black beans as an option, but that’s my only negative.

Odd spot for the best Mexican food in Montana, but it is great. Our server who seemed to be running the show is from Guadalajara Mexico. We had, Menudo, Birria and Mole and it was as authentic as you can get when it comes to the ingredients that can be easily purchased in Montana… I will be back, stop in for sure, excellent service, great prices for good portions…. We were so happy we stopped by… BTW, I lived in Mexico for three years…. I can’t wait until this classy little location picks up a liquor license.
