I’ve gotten Casa Café a few times now and I would say they’re pretty consistent and overall the food is good. The drive-through window is super convenient for pick up orders. My favorite is the steak bowl, which I think is appropriately priced and offers a large portion. I’ve also gotten their quesadilla and birria taco. I wish the taco came with some consume. Their guac is good, but I prefer none or less tomatoes in mine. I also love the inside it’s super relaxed and inviting.

Fantastic! Food was as close to real Mexico as I have seen in Erie! Such a friendly, helpful staff. Very clean and fresh decor. Salsas has great homemade flavor and everything super fresh in their cold tipping bar even when we ordered 30 minutes til close. The bakery items were totally authentic. Perfect for dipping in a coffee. The elephant ears were the bomb! We will be back!!

Fresh and not too sweet. Most concha’s I’ve had were dry and stale, but these you could definitely tell were baked fresh! Our favorite was the purple/pink one with coconut. Such balanced flavors and the perfect pairing for coffee or tea.

Just had breakfast here and it was DELICIOUS!! I got the steak bowl, my fiance got the avacado toast, and we got a chicken quesadilla for our son. The women behind the counter were so so kind and explained their different types of coffee so I could pick one out. Overall I definitely recommend trying this cafe out it’s so cozy and cute inside! We will absolutely be back soon 🙂 oh and the prices were very reasonable and the portions were perfect!

Im on the road a lot and like to try new places where I’m working.
The restaurant looks like it used to be a taco bell or something like that and was converted into a more full service.
The inside was clean, spacious and modestly decorated.
The menu was simple and to the point, there’s no huge and overly complicated menu.
The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I didn’t expect it to be so good. I ordered the steak bowl. It had simple ingredients and the portions were generous. I expected it to be too salty but it was spot on.
Good check them out if you’re in the Erie area.

As someone who’s lived in Erie my entire life, I’ve seen what this place used to be. The old DQ was downright awful, and honestly, I never thought this building could become anything special. But Casa Café completely proved me wrong. They’ve transformed this space into something truly remarkable. The building feels alive again, with an atmosphere that’s warm, vibrant, and inviting. The food is outstanding, and the pastries are absolutely top-tier. I genuinely hope Casa Café stays around for many years to come. If you’re reading this, give them a chance — they deserve it. Thank you, Casa Café, for such a fantastic experience!

This place has amazing food. Burrito is delicious. Chilaquiles is prepared perfectly. Great cafe vibe. Everyone who works here is super friendly and helpful and all around pleasant. Also the mini pancakes are absolutely worth waiting for, they’re one of a kind and all around delightful. Photo by my wife 🙂

This place is nice and has great food…but the service is not very friendly or helpful. No greeting no smile…just a dead stare while she waited for us to order. Food was dropped at our table, again…with no friendliness or expression. Asked for a side of salsa…she pointed at a metal cart and said there’s salsa right there (in a tone like we should know this already) if you perk up a little this place would be amazing.
