A wonderful surprise we found here on Vashon! Excellent food, wonderful service, and a fun atmosphere. I use a Mexican restaurant’s mole sauce as a litmus test, and they not only delivered, but exceeded my expectations. We had the Bonita margaritas, mole en puerco, birria taquitos, and somehow found room for Flan for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious.

Good menu with big portions!
Salads in particular have a lot of volume.
If you want spicy ask for the Scorpion sauce.
Nice outdoor seating area that allows dogs
Interior is on the dark side and looks dated.

I went here after looking online pricing.I ordered a super nacho. It was disgusting.My server’s name was maddiebell. I’ve never sent food back.I don’t like to start a scene.I went back the next day and told them the problems I had and my server.Yelled at me and told me to leave, and they’ve never made it right.I’ve stopped by ten times asking for the manager to call me do not go here.

Perfect pitstop on island for a post-adventure lunch.
We came in at 1pm on a beautiful Saturday and we’re immediately seated. We ordered a couple cold drinks – common beers – and enjoyed the chips with salsa (and beans)!
For our meals, we ordered shrimp tacos and the seafood (fish) enchiladas. Both were reallllly good. Rice and beans were even tasty! I altered the enchiladas to switch out the red sauce for a cream – highly recommend.
Overall, service was excellent and sitting nearish the AC units made it very comfortable inside. Bonus – there’s patio seating for good weather days. We think the menu prices were fair and we’d definitely come back in the future.

We came to Vashon Island for the first time, and before leaving, stopped here to grab dinner. I was not expecting the food to be so delicious and well prepared, as well as a very large vegan menu and great vegetarian options. I had the guacamole tacos and my fiancé had the chili verde. José was a fantastic host and was timely and friendly and the atmosphere made you feel at home. Great first experience and look forward to coming back for another delicious meal!

Very busy place on Cinco De Mayo. Service was good even with all the people. I would say the food is a little better than most traditional Mexican restaurants. I really liked the cabbage Pico that came with the chips. We took a ferry over to visit the troll and this was the perfect stop for lunch. You are definitely paying Vashon prices the fajitas were 27.99.
