Pros: a locally owned New Mexican restaurant. Clean, simple, casual ambiance. Affordable options. Great, efficient service.
I had the small combination plate, which was a ground beef taco and a ground beef enchilada topped with red sauce alongside green chili with rice and beans. It was $12.50, the portion was large, and the food was quite good.
Cons: it would be nice to have homemade chips and salsa. Both were store-bought. The chips were a tad too salty for my taste.

Amazing down to earth people. Food and ambience is exactly what I was looking for. Cheaper and better than the Golden Burro. I ordered food to go as well. Love this place. Find it.

The great place to visit with wonderful Mexican food! I especially enjoyed the green chili. It is loaded with chilies and not too spicy. We had an enchilada, relleno, a combo tostada and chicken taco. All were excellent. This is a family owned restaurant and the recipes are spot on!

We were passing through Leadville and found this restaurant on Google maps. We were so glad we stopped here for lunch! The food was delicious and the help was very friendly and efficient. I would recommend it for any lover of Mexican fare.

We had traveled from Cali to CO and had taken a road trip to go whitewater rafting, after which we were so hungry! Casa Blanca boasted authentic food as well as great service! The place is smallish in size and has a homey atmosphere. The chips and salsa were great and hit the spot!!!
The food is served fast and hot! We easily ordered a little more than we could eat even as hungry as we were! The red and green sauces are very flavorful but don’t overpower the taste of the dishes we ordered. I didn’t even get photos of all the food we ordered as my family chowed down!
Definitely worth a visit!

I’m giving four stars here because I’ve been twice. The first, AMAZING. Second, well, what happened. Maybe it’s hit or miss, but I’ll go back. Not going to judge negatively on one blaugh experience. If you like hot food, get the red sauce on your enchiladas.

What a gem! We found it as we entered Leadville after running Mosquito Pass from East to West. It was the perfect lunch after being on the trail. The house the restaurant is in is very charming and the woman that was working working was lovely. The food was great and the locals were very friendly and happy to chat up us tourists. We’ll certainly be back the next time we’re in town!

Good atmosphere. Lovely spot, just off the main drag. Staff were friendly and observant. As a New Mexican, I found the food to be reasonably priced and very good, though the red chile was not my favorite. Would visit again.
