Lunch on a Sunday. Seated quickly and drink/entree order taken quickly. Then we went through two things of chips and salsa waiting for our food. They were very busy with several large groups so this may be out of the ordinary.

I have been going to Casa since I was a little kid. It is an incredible institution and I was heartbroken when their storefront burned down. While the online ordering is a nice feature, and the insides of the breakfast tacos still taste deliciously nostalgic… they no longer make their own flour tortillas. If you are a longtime Casa fan, beware — the most unique aspect of their food is now gone. Also be sure to check their Facebook for opening hours, as Google is rarely up to date. I hope they can find a permanent location again soon and bring back the authentic tortillas!!!!

Great food especially the Fattie (you can only eat one). The waitresses are great and the service is fast. Very nice morning brunch spot on the weekend. Oh yea…there mimosas are awesome too!!

Good food. Certainly not a place that is easily accessible with any large vehicle. Personally, I feeling the prices are a little high for what you get. One thing I got was a “specialty” taco for $3.75 that was about 3-4 bites and the meat tasted like pot roast. Certainly disappointed.

The food is great but the customer service is poor. The woman at the window doesn’t say a word to you and just hands out the order and closes the window. Their website actually adds a 10% tip automatically and you have to change it yourself if you don’t want to include tip or if you’d like to tip more. I tip because I think it’s important to do so at hard working local businesses but it rubs me the wrong way when I tip and I don’t even get greeted or thanked. A simple “thank you” to your customer can go a long way. This has happened on several occasions and I think it is just poor taste. The food is good but don’t expect to be treated nicely.

This was my first visit at the food truck. I have been to Helen’s Casa Alda back 8n the days I new Helen very well she was very kind and cheerful. My visit was nice the young lady service was also pleasant and kind. I had two bean eggs with a strip of bacon with flour tortillas. They were fulling an delicious. The salsa was great it brought back memories. Thanks for the great service, up the great work and smiles.

Tried this food truck for the first time. My breakfast taco will filled and delicious. My husband’s fajita taco tasted great but very skimpy. Although we would love to go back the attitude of all the workers was a complete turn off. From ordering to receiving our order and asking for napkins… we felt as if we we’re a huge bother to them. If only the staff was friendly

The reviews about the customer service experience are spot on. The lady at the window is unwelcoming and seems bothered taking orders. Don’t expect to be greeted, thanked for your business or even smiled at by her, literally just take your food and get out is the vibe. The food is personally not worth putting up with the experience. It’s unfortunate since this is a local business.

Helen’s Casa Alde is a Buda staple. Unfortunately, about a year ago their brick and mortar location caught fire and they now operate out of a food truck. Despite having lived in Buda for 6 years, this was my first time trying them.
