I lost my receipt and calmly asked about my order, took responsibility, and even offered to pay again. Instead of acting like a professional adult, the boss (Anthony?) shouted curses in my face spoke to me in the most disrespectful way, saying I was lying and trying to get free food (a quesadilla??). I’ve never experienced customer service this hostile in my life and am honestly appalled, especially with how respectful and kindly I approached them. The lovely employees apologized on his behalf and gave me my food, but absolutely no consolation for how Anthony acted. Acted like a manchild whose parents had to excuse his shitty immature behavior. This was, without exaggeration, the most disgusting behavior I have ever encountered in a service establishment.

Yeah if you want to pay a billion dollars for a mediocre burrito or other disgustingly greasy food, this is the place. Otherwise, go somewhere else. I bought a quesadilla because my friend wanted to go, but I didn’t realize I was spending $12 for THREE slices of a gross and greasy excuse of a quesadilla. Not to mention, there’s still portions of this place without dry wall. Like if you’re going to charge me this much for a piece of food you should be able to afford some drywall to cover up that plywood. What if I get a splinter? Dangerous. ALSO, I ordered a $3 bottle of water, and they handed me one straight from the closet, still warm and everything. In total, I would recommend eating out of the dumpster before eating here.

This was my first time at carry knight spot and it will be my last. I ordered a Franks chicken sandwich and some fries and they managed to screw up both. The burger bun was super dry like it had been left out for hours. The chicken and cheese was flavorless an subpar. The fries were salted so excessively they were barely edible. The fountain drink was honestly the best part of the meal. My order at $14 wasn’t awfully expensive but at that price I could’ve gotten a much better meal at Chick-fil-A or Jimmy Jones or any of the fast food places on campus.

I went to this place strictly because of how close it is but I will no longer spend money here, the food is decent but the service is pretty bad. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had burning hot grease leak from the food onto my hands and clothes due to how poorly the burgers are wrapped. On my last venture there, I got charged for food I didn’t order and somebody on staff made it seem like they added money back to my card; the worker even made it seem like everything was taken care of and I asked him just to be sure. I just checked my account balance and realized that I was charged nearly seven more dollars for my order and the worker lied to me; I have now swore off the place permanently. If you go here, be careful of what they charge you for otherwise you might get taken for a ride like me.

Unless you live in Cary and have to waste dining dollars skip this place. Too expensive for what you get, and very often one or more of their services are down or they are out of the item you went there to get. The only way I can recommend this place is for their sub sandwiches but they often run out of bread, or their milkshakes but their machine is down once again as I type this. Skip this place.
