First time at Carvers this weekend and it was an absolute 10/10 experience!

We went all out with the Ribeye, Lobster Tail, and Salmon. Every bite was incredible.

Pro-tip: start with the Bruschetta and the Shrimp..you won’t regret it. Also, the Martinis are legit…definitely pour-heavy and ice cold!

The service was professional and attentive, and the vibe is pure classic steakhouse. If you haven’t been yet, put this on your list for your next date night!

Had a great meal at Carvers the other night. I ordered the 14oz NY Strip medium-rare, closer to the rare side than medium. They absolutely nailed it, the steak was cooked to perfection. It was a great cut of meat, very tender for a strip, and the taste was just perfect. The service was just right, checked on us when appropriate, kept the drinks full. The au gratin potatoes were delicious as well. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be returning.

Atmosphere is amazing, appetizers great: the Brie had no business being as good as it was. The service was fantastic.. two lil boys cleared the plates very often (I think they were robots). The salads were fantastic and the drinks were good. The sides were also delicious. Unfortunately the steak was a 2/10 and I would never order steak here again. Mine had no grill marks and tasted slightly out of expiration. I should have complained. The picture shows the fat I didn’t eat. I normally eat the hot charred fat on a ribeye but mine just wasn’t cooked. It was closer to a medium rare than the medium ordered. The server did his due diligence checking on us but I didn’t say anything. Again will go back but not getting steak. The kids Mac and cheese was incredible.

We had a wonderful first time experience. I ordered the filet mignon and my husband ordered the ribeye. The steaks were delicious. I am very picky with my steaks and this is the best steak I have had in my life. The food is so good. The staff are friendly and welcoming as well.

Great experience. AJ was our server. Very pleasant and thorough. We were on the later side so the restaurant started to clear out. He assured us there was no rush. My chicken portable with wild rice pilaf was delicious. My husband enjoyed his chicken cordon blue and green beans. Manhattans were excellent.

Carver’s Steak and Chop

Adam was my waiter this evening, made awesome suggestions and absolutely helpful in deciding what I am going to see on my trip! The only non-negotiable I had was I wanted the ribeye.

Atmosphere: dark and intimate setting with candles adding to the ambiance. A variety of music ranging from Frank Sinatra to Teddy Swims plays while dining.

Jack and Diet Pepsi: no Coke products but that can be forgiven due to the ample spirits poured. Haha.

Calamari: tender buttery and breaded strips mixed with crispy onions and bell peppers, topped with a delicious aioli that perfectly balances out with onions, peppers and calamari. Served with a lemon which pleasantly accentuates the flavors when mixed however without is just as satisfying.

Spinach salad: spinach with apples, cranberries and almonds gingerly tossed in a creamy vinaigrette. This was a perfect follow up to the calamari as its sweetness complimented the salty flavors of the calamari. The sweet red apple slices with the tangy cranberries went nicely with the almonds natural warmth. Quite refreshing.

Ribeye (rare) with sherry mushrooms: I’ll start with the ribeye…when I say this was cooked to perfection I mean if I could’ve gotten up and kissed the chef I would’ve. The knife slid through the meat effortlessly. Simple seasoning that let the meat itself shine, every bite elicited a slight moan as it practically melted in my mouth. And on to the sherry mushrooms…simple and elegant side for any steak in my opinion, although most places over flavor them Carver’s has perfected them. They had a hint of sherry without being overpowering and thoroughly enjoyed as a standalone although eaten with the steak bite was delicious (I’m more of purist when it comes to meats).

Dessert: these are usually played separately but they graciously played them together.

Crème Brûlée: my favorite part of this dessert is that initial “crack” into the caramelized sugar crust. This sounds was music to my ears as the spoon hit the top opening up to a rich and luscious filling.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries: Five quite sizable chocolate dipped strawberries decorated with pink chocolate shavings add to the romance of this dessert option. The chocolate coating is quite thick for this it chocolate lovers! Simple and always loved selection.

A wonderful site for a night out around a wonderful meal. A quiet and peaceful setting. I know it’s known for its streaks, but we both had fish dishes (salmon and cod) and they were excellent.
