I live in Down town Des Plaines, was looking to try a new spot. This place got decent reviews and was only 10 minutes away. Sadly it did not meet my expectations. I will start with the positive, the cashier was friendly. The prices were not over priced in my opinion. Negatives, the small Chicago style stuffed pizza that I was craving was mush! It was wet, sooooooooooo much sauce. Also ordered a thin crust half sausage, half cheese. Again to much sauce, maybe that’s a personal preference, but I don’t like when sauce is oozing out sides with every bite. I think I could of still enjoyed except it had a burnt taste, from the bottom of pizza being a little burnt. Maybe they were having an off day, but I was definitely bummed that I spent 45 dollars for no one to be happy with dinner.

All the low reviewers are smoking rocks or something! Ive been coming here for years and I absolutely love the pizza. Most places are over priced for not enough food. With Carusos, you get the best of both worlds with fair prices and enough food for you and someone else. Personally, I can slam a whole pan pizza to myself like weekly but thats just me because Im on another level. They also do slightly well done, and well done pizzas which I rarely see pizza places do, and I usually like my cheese with a little bit of brown on it ya feel me? Do yourself a favor and order a small pan pizza for like $20! Do it! ORDER IT!! Ok bye love you

Me and my girlfriend showed up around 5 for dine in and this place is A Hidden gem to say the least, I consider myself a pizza connoisseur and this place sure was good. I’m from the Southside of Chicago moved to the suburbs and haven’t had a truly good pie in a while. Good pricing, good portions and the made with love taste you expect from a small business. Pizza was cooked to perfection perfect amount of crisp and dough flavor and the cheese tasted high quality and the sauce was seasoned perfectly and lastly the pepperoni used was delicious and perfectly seasoned which is something most pizzerias mess up when they buy their pepperoni. Overall the ingredients were Quality and it’s obvious that someone spent time fine tuning this recipe to perfection. Me And my girlfriend now have a new favorite pizza place and proud to see a small business being competitive. Friendly delivery drivers and the owner is awesome to chat with.

Their pizza is always very good. I usually get thin crust with sausage and ask for it to be baked “well done”. I’ve never had a problem. I like their pan pizza too. A ten inch cheese and sausage is good for several meals. Their grilled chicken sandwich is very good too. I get it whole on a hamburger bun with lettuce and tomato, but no mayo. Big enough for two meals. They are also open on Mondays now too which is very nice as I sometimes get pizza cravings on Mondays! Owner, staff taking phone orders and drivers are all excellent. Prices have gone up since Co-Vid, but that’s true everywhere. They occasionally send out coupon flyers with some good deals. By the way, I am long term customer. Small area with a few tables to sit and eat if you want, but the business is mostly carryout and delivery. I particularly like their toasted raviolis, breaded mushrooms and onion rings. The appetizer sizes are significantly smaller than they used to be pre-Co-Vid, so they are just an occasional treat.

Best pizza and Italian comfort food in the area. Grew with this place and still coming back as an adult. Slices are fantastic on the go and the cannolies superb. Definitely recommend it your craving a slice on the go.
