We went specifically for the Sunday special. There’s no menu online, the image they show online is not the special.
The garlic Caesar was soooo good!
Espresso martini was fine
I got the gnocchi without a protein, pesto was delicious.
Chicken parm was good too
Crème brûlée was nice with the candied orange.
Butterfinger sundae would have been better with Vanilla ice cream.
Overall food was good.
Service was slow
We arrived for dinner just before 5 pm and didn’t leave until 630. We were one of maybe 5 parties, once it started getting busiest you could tell service was slower!
Appetizer came out quick and so did dinner but it took at least 15 mins just for dessert.
Our server was so nice, Don.
I think there’s not enough staff. Or the organization of wait staff to tables needs to be improved. We noticed the hostess walk in at least ten times to just check where people were seated.
I feel terrible for the couple next to us. They weren’t greeted for at least ten minutes, no server, no drinks.

There were two people waiting in front at opening. Was quickly greeted and seated. The setting looked modern. There were multiple choices on the three-courses menu for the $25 Restaurant Week lunch. The Tricolore Salad was a healthy dish. The Spicy Neapolitan Ragu was well made and presented. The Crema Bruciata was very delicious.

I was just at Caruso’s for a birthday dinner with a friend and had a reservation, but we ended up waiting about 20 minutes past our scheduled time to be seated. Normally that would be frustrating, but one of the hosts at the front, Josie, completely changed the experience for us. I made sure to ask her name once we were seated, because she was so warm and welcoming. She sincerely apologized for the wait, and her kind and positive spirit kept us satisfied even though we had to wait past our reservation time. Once we were seated, our waitress, Bella, was also great and did a wonderful job taking care of us throughout the meal. The food was delicious as well. I ordered the chicken parm and it was fantastic. Overall, it turned out to be a really nice birthday dinner with my friend, and the service made a big difference. I will definitely be returning.

As good as advertised. I knew i didn’t have time to really sit down for lunch but I’m glad I paused. I had a set lunch of the house salad, pasta with clams, and a mini cannolo. Good value for $25. Parking readily available at the garage with two hours free.

Sam was great! Perfect service and funny. We tried this place for restaurant week and what a surprise! Everything we tried was so so good. Perfect pesto gnocchi but everything was equally delicious.

I have been wanting to come here for a long time, but the timing or reservation availability had never lined up before. I had been to the front bar area for HH before, which was nice.
The decor of the dining room in the back is very cute! Really nice atmosphere. The booths that aren’t half booths are a bit tight, just fyi, but after we got settled we were fine.
Our waitress, Pascal, was very sweet, knowledgable and attentive! I wasn’t going to get the gnocchi but after she recommended we try all three restaurant week entrees, I did and I think it was the best dish of them all! It reminded me of my late father’s homemade Italian dishes and it was really enjoyable. The famous garlic bread was also amazing, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the chicken parm. We agreed the penne alla vodka could’ve been a bit better and less salty, but it was still enjoyable, and my group absolutely loved the crème brûlée.
The restaurant also recognized that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary with complimentary champagne and a card for a complimentary mimosa when we return for brunch. I really want to try their famous tiramisu! The service overall was just 5 star – from being greeted/seated, to Pascal and I assume some of the management team who came by the table to ask how things were. Overall we had a wonderful evening & look forward to trying more menu items.

It’s as close as you can get to a legit old-school red sauce place – but it’s new. Great service from the moment we entered. The food was really good. They let us dine without being pushy; the timing of the courses was good. They shades were drawn so you mercifully weren’t looking onto the parking lot. You could tell a lot of care went into the customer experience.
My only notes are regarding the prices – the menu posted online doesn’t have current prices, and there should be a note on the menu that vodka sauce with the chicken parm is extra – it says it’s an option but not that it costs more.

Came with some friends to try out the DC restaurant week menu. We were more than disappointed at the start. We made a reservation, were running late but called ahead to make sure it would still be upheld, arrived a couple minutes late, and watched as people who came after us were provided a table with no explanation. When we finally asked about it we were told the time at which we had “arrived” was provided as an explanation. This was inaccurate because no one had actually helped us at the front desk until even later than when we arrived. Many people were waiting wondering when they were going to be helped. What really turned our experience around was our waiter. He was understanding, accommodating, and had a good sense of humor. He even brought out more sauce that came with an appetizer for our entrees for us! Major shout out to him because we were feeling extremely underwhelmed by the previous service. The food was good and the only complaint the table had was for the dry eggs on the bacon, egg, and cheese. It came with the $25 prefixed menu, so can’t complain about prices overall, but makes you wonder how much that would typically run you. The pasta was yum, the fries were especially yum, and that sauce that came with the garlic bread was…I can’t describe it on this platform, but it was heavenly. Overall a good experience for people looking to ball on a budget. Thank you DC restaurant week!

Came here for dinner and had an amazing experience. I was initially seated inside but moved outside per my request with the amazing weather. At night the lights turned on and the cool weather made the atmosphere a perfect place to catch up. My favorite dish was the Alfredo and the strawberry basil lemonade is a must try! I ended with cannolis for dessert which are perfect too share. Made a reservation and was seated immediately and the waiter Methu was very attentive and gave great recommendations

I’ve eaten here twice in 2 weeks. Even sat in the same dining room. Both visits were consistent. The hostess was very unfriendly and seemed like would be rather be somewhere else. She may have trained at A&F’s school of etiquette and aloofness. The wait staff was efficient, friendly yet professional, and attentive. Excellent. The food was good to excellent. Portions were good sized and we all left full. Sodas and Ice tea did not have unlimited refills. Disappointing. I wonder about coffee? Prices were moderate. Between Seasons 52 and Glenmont’s prices. Dessert was very good though we were let down by the watery Creme Brule at our 2nd visit. The atmosphere was loud due to poor acoustics. Most places have a moderate but tolerable background drone. Our room was small and loud, with many crescendos. One table really stuck out and we could wait for them to leave. Overall, a very good experience with solid value for the food.
