I had a great experience at Caruso’s. I came on a Thursday night and it wasn’t busy. We were promptly seated and offered drinks. We ordered the italian fries, which were super yummy. For entrees, we ordered the lasagna and the spaghetti. Both fulls. They came with the option of soup or salad and both were very good. The entrees came out piping hot and although a little bland, that was easily fixed with a little bit of salt and pepper. It was plenty of food and we went home with leftovers. The service was especially amazing. We had refills on our drinks when they were about 1/4 full. We were given parmesan cheese when the waiter noticed that we didn’t have it at our table. We didn’t even have to ask. If you’re looking for well priced, good italian food and great service, this is the place!

Absolutely amazing! Has that Italian feel, mixed in with awesome service and smiles. The food is delicious and more. I have been eating there since I was a child. Still amazing. Brings back numerous childhood memories. I never get tired of eating there. Absolutely a must if you love Italian food. They make their own sauces and everything.

My mom showed me this place when I was a kid. I use to love eating here, but hadn’t been since before the pandemic, so I was super excited to go back. That was until I got my order.
I actually ordered the FULL order of Manicotti, but got the HALF order with spaghett insteadi. It was Super DRY. Not enough sauce & the cheese was a lil more than browned. Disappointed
Don’t know if I’ll be back.

I have passed this place many times in the past 10 yrs and each time with a thought of ” I really want to try that place”. Well I finally did and I was completely surprised and excited about my lunch
I ordered the half plate of chicken parmesan. It was so tender and steaming hot. It was the best I have had in all of Albuquerque. As part of my entree I also had a very good minestrone soup.
My husband had a plate of spaghetti that was completely empty when he was done, so I just took that to mean he really liked it. I did try a bite of his meatball and it had a nice little bite to it.
I won’t wait another 10 years to eat here again and if you haven’t been here, give it a go. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by this hidden place. The gentleman that took our order was very nice and sociable without going overboard.
Now go on, head over and have a super generous half plate unless you are willing to try a full. I ended up taking over half my half a plate home not because I didn’t want it, I was just that full.

The food was as expected. The service lacked. I ordered 4 meal and 3 appetizers and they saw me struggling to carry everything, but never offered to help. On the up side, the fried ravioli is really good.

I heard good things about this place so decided to give it a try a few weeks ago. What a mistake. The restaurant was short staffed, no biggie on the wait when you’re in good company. The food however was a huge disappointment. I got a salad that was drowning in blue cheese dressing. I had ordered the mushroom ravioli, but they were out so I got the cheese ravioli. It was so bad. Maybe the cook was overwhelmed that night, I just don’t know. The ravioli was cold and bland, like really bland. I didn’t even finish my food and left really disappointed. Unsure if I’ll go back to give this place another chance, but at this point as much as I LOATHE Olive Garden I’d rather go there first. All those giving this place many stars what am I missing?!
