We popped in here on a whim as the plans we had were changed and we couldn’t be happier because this place is an absolute gem. My partner and I have been looking for good tacos on the east coast for nearly two decades and was always left disappointed until now. The food is fantastic. There is simply no other way to put it. We now look for excuses to go to State College for lunch just so we can eat here. This is now our favourite restaurant in the area.

Literally THE BEST taco I’ve ever had. It was presentable, tasted delicious, the chicken was cooked perfectly! I had the chili lime chicken taco with pickled onions and a Jalapeño cilantro crema sauce that was outstanding!! 100/10 by far! They have a deal for $14 you can try 3 different tacos. The only complaint I had was that I didn’t have more!! Will definitely be returning with my family and friends to show off!

Best tacos in the State College and surrounding area. We had the taco flight. Employees and the owner were extremely helpful soon as we walked through the door. We ran into the owner later down the road and he asked how our meal was. Support this local business, you will not be disappointed. We will be back for sure!

Legit the best taco joint I’ve been to! Not expensive when you consider these guys have to make a living wage. The tacos that I got (5 spice, etc) were so flipping good!!! I was incredibly surprised by the service. There was only one guy behind the counter and he was so incredibly welcoming, and he definitely runs a tight ship in that kitchen. 10/10 will definitely come again

We ordered brisket, chilli-lime and roasted pork taco to try. Nothing amazing about the taco. Could have use some crunchy veg to give it additional texture. Also one of the tacos was extremely salty. We think it was the brisket. Overall, just average.

Found Carter’s on Google, decided to check it out. Met the chef and Owner, he could not have been nicer! Helped up navigate the menu, spoke about his recipes, everything made from scratch! Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had, our entire party hasn’t stopped speaking about them since our trip. Will definitely return the nice time we visit the area.

My son and I stopped by for a Saturday lunch date. This place delivers every single time. My 11 year old says, “addictive!” Staff is professional and friendly. Casual atmosphere and a total win! We had the most delicious brisket and chicken quesadillas. 10/10!

Absolutely some of the best tacos I have ever eaten. I would’ve kept ordering if I wasn’t so filled up. I am so happy to have found such a great place with amazing tacos:) The owner was extremely hospitable explaining the menu and creating exceptional food and a welcoming atmosphere into his restaurant. I loved the chicken tacos the flavors complemented each other so well. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves great food!
