I am a traditional Irish pub in Rochester, New York. I am owned and operated by a real live Irish lady and her family. I am located at 1768 East Main Street.

Small Irish bar in Rochester. Nice cozy neighborhood bar. They do have outdoor seating. Cash only.

Danny pours the absolute best GUINNESS. Food and atmosphere are authentic – the best Fish n Chips around. ☘️

A true diamond in the rough. Traditional Irish pub with live, free Irish music in the round on Monday nights. Excellent fish fry at a great price. Cash only, but they have an ATM.

Kind of a basic Irish pub , slightly divey, decent selection of Irish and domestic beer . Basic pub fare but decent , quiet and not crowded compared to most other Irish pubs.

The Carroll Family does a fabulous job; the atmosphere is warm & welcoming; the staff treats you like family. Did Friday Fish Fry, portions were HUGE and food was DELISH!
Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good eats, malted beverages and superb Irish hospitality!

I live nearby. We moved into the neighborhood two years ago and decided to stop by. It was quiet Sunday night. A guy welcomed us by giving us some fresh zucchini from his garden that he brought to share. And then some musicians sat at the end of the bar and played some Irish music…just on the fly. Cool.

A place that feels like home away from home. Caroll’s is truly a family. If you spend time in investing in getting to know local’s here you will not be disappointed. Try the buffalo chicken perogies and Guinness.

Every Irish Bar outside of Ireland wants to be this bar, Patrick is a living legend , 3 of us had the pleasure of visiting Carroll’s last week, and as Irish guys who have been to Irish bars all over the world, this one is without doubt top of the list, great beer, great food & great craic. If you find yourself in Rochester, you will be missing out if you dont grab a few pints in Carroll’s. Looking forward to the next trip already.
