We decided to try some Thai from here. It wasn’t our favorite, but it still passed for being edible. Pad Thai noodles weren’t your standard rice noodle, these seemed to be more what you might see in a drunken noodle dish. There were also water chestnuts which you wouldn’t normally find and onion pieces were pretty large too.
Pad Ped was better than the Pad Thai, so if I had to get Thai from here I’d likely gravitate to a curry based dish. The rice they give was a pretty small amount when you buy a pint sized entree, so you might have to end up making your own rice at home.

Maybe we’ll come back and try the Chinese as they seemed to have a decent amount of people coming and going out of the restaurant, but probably won’t be back for the Thai.

Did the health dept. close them down? We haven’t eaten here in a number of years. We used to like it, but then one of our friends saw the cook tasting the soup from the soup ladle. Yuck!! She told them to keep the takeout order she was waiting for and she left. She told us and we’ve never returned. Plus, we noticed a lot of little (fruit?) flies in the dining area the last couple times we ate there.

The “shared kitchen” leaves a great deal to be desired. Extremely limited menu. They do NOT keep the hours they publish ~ ~ they show up way past the supposed opening & until they flip the switch the phone gives their speech, which is nonsensical. egg rolls were poor, fried rice was tasteless & HOW can they ruin won ton soup? Gave them 1 star for “atmosphere” because there is none – – you stand at the counter & watch the cook at a kitchen set up for bacon, eggs & sandwiches.
I’ll give them one more try 45 days after they open at their new location .. .. want to give them enough time to become accustomed to their new operation.

I’ve eaten here twice now and both times have been really impressed. Last week I tried the beef egg foo young, I liked it a lot. Today I dined in for lunch, had the general tso chicken lunch special and crab ragoons. I can tell they use high quality chicken which I really liked, it’s lightly battered and the meat was super juicy. I thought the portion was a perfect size personally, not too much and not too little, especially since it’s made from good quality. It also came with soup and an egg roll which was really good. The crab ragoons were solid as well.

The owners/servers were super friendly and I can tell they have a loyal customer base just by seeing the people who were walking in.

I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

So this restaurant is a fixture in the area for Chinese style cuisine. The staff have always been very polite and the place is basically packed anytime I’ve been. I got to say tho, I’ve had their food multiple times and it’s just not very good. Making no attempt at being dramatic but the egg rolls might be the worst I’ve ever had. The main entrees are ok, but I’ve only had a few. Prices aren’t particularly good. Picking up food is hit or miss as they don’t tell you if there was a problem with the order until you get there only then to have to wait more time for them to fix it. Either I’ve had just the worst run consistently with the food here or folks that rate it high may not know what good Asian restaurant grub actually is. I guess I just don’t get this particular establishment.

We had a wonderful family meal here. We ordered a number of different dishes and all of them were excellent. Our server was great and attentive without being intrusive. All in all it was an excellent experience. I only took one star from the Atmosphere because the booths have a lot of wear in the fabric at your head and back. It gives a bit of a worn out look to the restaurant. Otherwise, great family dining experience.

My fiance stopped here after work, since it’s close to his job. So this was my first time having the sweet and sour chicken meal, with fried rice and a egg roll. The egg roll was soggy, not crispy at all. The sweet and sour mix was super tangy, and just tasted weird. The chicken was okay, but there were pieces that were very fatty and the breading they cook the chicken with was different then what I’m used to having at other Chinese restaurants. I don’t think I’ll be getting the sweet and sour chicken meal again. I might try something else next time. I will say for two meals it only cost $23 dollars, so the prices are good, just wish the food was better.

Very disappointing meal this evening. The red Thai curry taste was different than usual, sauce was thicker and it had an unusual odor. They did not include all the listed vegetables, we had to ask for baby corn and the server brought a small dish with a few pieces that were cold.
They now charge a credit card fee, which we learned of only after paying. They said signs were posted – one on the door near the handle, which was not noticeable in the dark, and one on the counter which we didn’t get close to before we were seated. The attitude of the person we told afterward was rude.
We used to like this restaurant, but they lost two customers for a pittance.
