Amazing experience!! Heather was an exceptional guide/server for our birthday brunch experience. We tried several of the crafted cocktails before settling on a split table of BBQ Shrimp and Grits and Eggs Benedict. Heather was very patient with our requested changes to our orders and spot on with her recommendations! Food was delicious! The drinks were great as well. But Heather made our experience!! We will be back on Saturday to try the Prime Rib!

We ate here every day on our visit to Burnsville. What a special place. Spectacular food, ambience, charm, warmth and interior design. Tash made us feel welcome, was super friendly and gave us great food suggestions.

We wish we could’ve come for prime rib night, but will be back! Cheers to a beautiful experience, which is what it’s all about

We live west of town for over 18 years not far and finally took the chance to come by on prime rib special night. So glad we did.

Interior decore really cool. We were met with a friendly hostess and then sat before long. Along came Shanna who took wonderful care of us. She was friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Could not ask for a better service experience. Please convey our appreciation to her for making a wonderful evening (having eaten at mire resteraunts than we can count it can make or break an evening) both service & conversation. We will return on prime rib night & ask for her specifically. She treated all her tables with the same great care. She absolutely deserves a raise!

My wife and I both had the prime rib special, mine as it comes but an end cut, and hers substituted the collard greens with roasted Brussel sprouts & cauliflower. All was excellent.

Started w the roasted beet salad which was great.

I have had a lot, I mean A LOT, of prime rib over my 5.3 decades on this Earth and this was the best I’ve had. The collard greens also took 1st place in the best I’ve had and I have had some incredible collard greens at BBQ resteraunts.

Had a pair of deserts & wife had a coctail special she enjoyed so much she had 2.

All in all a wonderful experience & we will absolutely be back and even try brunch & lunch. Saw a few burgers come out to other tables while waiting, which looked quite appealing.

We came in for brunch on our last day in town and this little bar/restaurant also includes a humidor full of cigars. We decided not to get drinks but they did have a decent selection and a fully stocked bar to make whatever you could dream up. They also have a bakery and all sorts of coffee. The food was good and the service was decent. Burnsville did not disappoint and its a very nice mountain town that seems to be quiet and made a very speedy recovery from the hurricane last year. Thank you for your hospitality and good food!

Had an absolutely perfect meal at Carriage House Sundries. We stopped in for a very late brunch on Saturday (they serve until 3). The food exceeded all of our expectations- it was excellent. Easily the best meal we’ve had in the area. We had the fried chicken sandwich and the breakfast grilled cheese. You can always tell an excellent restaurant because they can make a simple dish superb – the breakfast grilled cheese fit that description. We will definitely return!

I’ve been eating here WEEKLY since my first review and the food has not slipped. Amazing service and food. I still have not eaten in, but I want to, which says A LOT about the atmosphere as din8ng in Is not my usual bag.

I want to say that recently I’ve heard of rude customers complaining about waiting and the price. 3 things

1. When your food is made to order, it takes a bit longer. It’s worth it. But hey, if ya want something pre-made head over and grab some fast food.

Which leads me to my second point

2. It cost less than a meal at burger King, IF you chose to call fast food a meal. It’s not. A double whopper is nearly 18 dollars nowadays. The double burger at carriage house is 15, and it’s amazing, fresh made real meat and fresh made bread.

3. Sometimes you will wait longer for your food here. They are slammed packed everyday they are open. Maybe consider the reasons WHY U are hav8ng to wait (quality, quantity) and chill out.

On our way back to Asheville we decided to finally check out Carriage House Sundries. We were seated promptly and our wonderful server Mave greeted us right away. My wife and I each had a specialty coffee, my wife had toasted marshmallow and I had a banana bread latte, Both were absolutely heavenly! There were so many wonderful items on the menu, Mave recommended the Rueben, I was hesitant as my last two attempts at Ruben’s at other locations was not the best at all. I can say, without a doubt that this is one of the best rooms I’ve ever had in my life! Tater tots are absolutely perfectly crispy as well. My wife loved her breakfast as well. We will 100% be back. Recommend everyone try this place.

We stopped in around five on Sunday evening and had a typical wait for a table. Once seated we immediately placed our order of wings and a Gyro. The atmosphere was great and the seating was good. Our meal was delicious but service was mediocre and slow. It took over 20 minutes to receive the bill and pay. Things were quite busy so there might have been an issue.

Great atmosphere. Service was good and staff very friendly. Food was very underwhelming. Ribeye was disappointing. Although their own made steak sauce was delicious. Wife ordered the burger and had to send it back because it was not cooked . After the second burger we asked to just skip it. Waffle sweet potatoes were good, same for the Brussels sprouts and sweet fried plantains. Keep in mind their menu says fried plantains but they are sweet plantains. There is a difference.

I would come back for a drink and sides but not to eat main course.

Went there for dinner with a group of 7. We had to wait a little while but it was totally worth it. My wife and I ordered the Gyro Bomb steak on Naah bread, it was delicious. Everyone else in the group loved their meal. The hostess and server were awesome and super friendly. Our server had a great sense of humor as our group was rather rambunctious but she played along. I would definitely go there again and highly recommend it to anyone that’s in Burnsville. I’ll finish by saying that the price for our meal was very reasonable, dare I say cheap. If you’re in Burnsville give it a try.
