Rustic atmosphere, very cozy and lots of colonial charm. Our server Lisa was phenomenal. Awesome drink and menu selections. I had crab cakes and they were wonderful. It’s a great place for families and friends to get together. It’s our family’s favorite!

The atmosphere was great on the pub side, with games and a bar to sit at. There is also another side for casual dining that is quieter.
The stuffed mushrooms were delicious! They had plenty of crab in them. I got the haddock and it was full of flavor and the mashed potatoes were amazing! They had a garlic flavor to them that made them addicting.
The flourless cake was like any other one I have had but still rich and good.

Stopped in by accident, and I’m so glad I did. What looked pretty unassuming from the parking lot turned out to be an incredible experience. The food was fantastic, and the staff was not only friendly but clearly loved what they do. I ordered the mushroom schnitzel, the Brew Mister mac and cheese, a cocktail, and a mint chocolate coffee, and every single thing was beautifully plated and absolutely top notch. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone, and I’ll definitely be back.

We decided to get takeout based on the offerings on the fact that my friend loves mushroom dishes. One of us ordered Jaeger chicken schnitzel, the other the pork dish
The food was great and flavorful. Perhaps a little heavy on the onions with the Jaeger schnitzel. It was not crispy, but that is the downside of takeout. I think had it been prepared and served in the restaurant it would have been better.
The vegetables, Often an after thought were tasty and well prepared, not soggy at all. The red cabbage was also good. It is encouraging when a restaurant gives the same attention to the sides as they do with the entrée.
The takeout containers were a sufficient size that everything did not run together. The salads and the rolls were placed in different containers.
As you can see from the photo, the parking was adequate and easily accessible. There is a main dining room and a second area. They have live entertainment sometimes.

Our first time here even though we are only 5 mins down the road and it was great! The host was kind enough to show us both the main dining room and the pub area and let us pick which area we wanted to sit in. We chose the pub. Wasn’t too busy but noticed there were games and many large tv’s. The bar was a good size and our waitress and the bartender were both amazing! My fiance really enjoyed their beer selection. Not the largest menu but tried a bit of everything. I had a mac&cheese entree and it was phenomenal. The waitress showed us an entire tray of dessert options and they all looked like something your grandma would have baked fresh for when you visited! We couldn’t decide between the creme brûlée cheesecake or the traditional creme brûlée so we ended up ordering one of each. So good we couldn’t decide which one we liked better. Will be back, excited to stop by in the summer time!

I’ve known Mike and Kate McCallister for a few years and am SO happy they opened a restaurant! Mike is an incredibly talented brew Master, and Kate is the wizard behind the curtain! They are a force to be reckoned with. This is our favorite new place to go. The food and atmosphere are amazing, we are definitely going to book a party here in the future. We ended up having 2 of our friends meet up with us and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We got the schnitzel and ribeye, our friends meet got the Branzino, and his wife got the spaetzle. The desserts and cocktails were delicious as well! We got extra desserts to take home. We can’t wait to come back!

My fiance and I came here for dinner and we had such a great experience. Our server Lisa was incredible, so friendly, and so great to chat with!! Food was absolutely delicious and serving sizes were great as well – we both enjoyed dinner and had leftovers to bring home. We will definitely be coming back!!

New owners. Food was excellent. Our waitress needed more training. Other waitresses around us seemed more on the ball. Prices were a little high considering there were no tablecloths and the staffs attire was as if they were heading to the gym after work. Just to mention again. The food was delicious.

I was really excited for this restaurant. We drive past it all the time and it seems busy. Went today for my birthday and it was empty. All the food was great except the filet mignon I ordered medium came well done (crunchy, dry well done). I almost never send food back so I gave it to my husband to try and eat, which he couldn’t. The server was nice but when I told her about it and she just replied with okay. No acknowledgement, no apologies, nothing. Usually when I order a steak, especially a high end cut, the server asks you to cut into it to verify it’s cooked the way you requested. This didn’t happen. Also the server boxed up only half of what was left on the plate. I was at least looking forward to giving my pups some well done filet mignon. Very upsetting and just really disappointing.

The Carriage House is an ethereal mix of elegant fine dining with a warm family welcome home feeling to it. It is truly rare to find such a place. I have been here many times with my uncle, who will not go out anywhere else locally for his birthday. It is easy to understand why he feels so passionately about this place though, after you realize that there is nothing you can order on this menu that is not INCREDIBLE! Every dish I have had over the years here is fresh, delicious, made with love, and exquisitely detailed not only in presentation, also in flavor. There are unique local cuisines as well as more rare International dishes that are sometimes offered as specials. The atmosphere is relaxing, you can come dressed formally or casually, as you prefer. The bar is also in need of high praise, the drinks are consistently excellent and strong. The perfect pomegranate martini can be found here! I highly recommend this restaurant for family dinners, gatherings of friends, and/or for a romantic date night. My favorite dinner is the crab imperial, though everything is truly amazing.
