Pitt County and Greenville and surrounding areas.. people you need to come here. what a hidden gem. This is such good country cooking. I had a BLT and onion rings but there’s also flounder shrimp barbecue veggie plate and also hotdogs,cheeseburgers etc. The price is very fair and the atmosphere is really nice cozy but country And nice music in the background and good temperature to sit in. I’ll definitely come again. Got to meet Carol’s sister in the young server was excellent.

Made another trip to see sweet Ms. Carol and get more of her delicious soul food!! Everything was amazing as always!! Perfect comfort food that just warms your soul and brings a smile to your face!! Do yourself a favor and try some of this delicious food with fantastic customer service!!
Some of the BEST HOME COOKING I’ve had since my sweet grandmother passed away years ago…the food is so delicious and you can tell that it’s prepared with love, by sweet Ms. Carol who is an angel herself, you can tell she takes great pride in her food, and it shines through! They offer a buffet on Sunday and we had BBQ Chicken, BBQ ribs, rutabagas, collards, corn, potato salad and tomato cucumber salad with homemade corn bread, and for dessert we had the homemade pineapple cake and banana pudding, everything was so hot, fresh and delicious! They also offer a seafood buffet on weekends, as well as plate specials during the week. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, all around excellent place and experience, we will most definitely be returning in the near future!!

Carol’s is an absolute MUST if you’re anywhere near Fountain/Farmville or surrounding areas. The food is fantastic, home-cooked and hot. The fried chicken is amazing, ribs, chicken and pastry, rutabagas, collards, anything! We go everytime we visit family in Farmville. Arrive early to avoid sell-out on specials and to ensure getting a table. It’s small, but the word is out so people come from all over. Just go to Carol’s and enjoy. You’ll thank me later.

Small out of the way, gem. Only open a few hours during the day. Everything is made to order. So it’s served hot. You can see the bread the chicken in a Tupperware bowl. That’s down home cooking. Everything was very good and priced right. Get off the main road and go find it.

Delicious southern cooking from warm welcoming owners and staff. Everything tasted fresh and hot.The collards, rutabagas, fried chicken, ribs, macaroni and hush puppies were all perfectly seasoned. I wish I could of tried a few other things but I was stuffed. We definitely will be back!! I’m so happy we took a Sunday drive to try it out.

First time here and NOT disappointed! This is truly good Southern food. Unlike places that claim to have southern food, this is legit. Unassuming on the outside and inside you might pass it by, thinking it’s someone’s home. But the taste of the food speaks for itself. Truly deserves a 5 star rating.
