We have been coming to Carolina for years now as it was recommended by our beloved mail man, as it is the same location who hosted his and his wife’s wedding reception 60+ years ago and states the food is still the same. So the first time we tried it out I was a little sketched out due to no windows and kinda dark but please do not judge a book by its cover. The food is absolutely amazing and has been for every trip since I first started going over 13 years ago. The Salad Bar is always fresh and the baked potatoes are the best with the home made sour cream (that’s not actually sour cream) the last few times we have been my favorite waitress has not been there. Jenelle was hands down the best waitress. And the two ladies at check out I believe either the owners or close family are the sweetest to personable ladies I’ve ever met. Very kind and great southern hospitality. As long as the recipe’s stay the same we will continue to go.
