Old school diner vibes, no frills, with classic breakfast and lunch staples that are incredibly satisfying. Great take on the cheesesteak that I would definitely order again. Hotdogs, gyros and salad were also a big hit at the table. You can tell this place has been working hard to serve up tasty food for decades.

A true meat’n three restaurant. Vintage but awesome. Staff are always great. They have daily specials. Don’t miss meatloaf Thursdays. Great sides and variety. Limas, cabbage and black eye peas were awesome. Wish this place was nearer to where we live. Always have lunch here when in this part of town!

This is one of THE BEST RESTAURANTS I’VE BEEN TO IN A WHILE! The atmosphere, the food, the prices, and omg THE FLAVOR! If you want a great warm, southern, home cooked meal YOU’RE IN FOR A TREAT GOING THERE! Everyone is treated like family and taken care of immensely. This is a 2nd generation family restaurant that’s had the same name and location FOR DECADES! If you’re stuck at airport and want some phenomenal food while you pass time for layover, GO THERE!

Our waitress was extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about menu items and the area.
The food was delicious across the board, just the salted ham was way saltier than expected.
The omelette was great-it was unusual in that they used American cheese instead of cheddar, which was unexpected.
Pancakes were standard and tasty.
Coffee was standard diner coffee which I generally find to be a bit weak.
All dishes were very affordable and there were a lot of menu options which I loved!
There’s a ton of seating, but try to get there early as they get packed pretty well!
All in all I highly recommend you give this place a try-classic, hometown diner!

I’ve been in the area almost 10 years and didn’t know this place was here. But the cashier mentioned the new paint job which does make it stand out a little
This is my kind of restaurant and would have been eating here for years had I known it was here. Paint job on side of building says it’s been here since 1976.
It’s right on the road and the parking lot was full when I arrived but it was not that busy inside. Seat yourself. Wait staff very nice. Got a 1/4:pound cheeseburger special that was on the board not on menu. Only open for breakfast and lunch, closes by 3pm so get here early. As I was leaving waitress told other customers they were out of several items.
Located in an area where a local 1 star motel and several garages are located so it’s easy to blend in and lost but hopefully new paint job will make it stand out. Building is old with limited parking
Bathroom is small and not ADA compliant, couldn’t get a walker or wheelchair inside.
I will definitely be back. Burger wá excellent

Wonderful breakfast at a good price. I got a ham and cheese omelet that was really good.
I asked for the hash browns crispy and they were.
Just 5 mins from CLT. I highly recommend, especially if you need a quick bite before a flight or when returning home to Charlotte.
