Carolina Butcher & Beer Garden never disappoints. The bratwurst and spicy Italian sausage were juicy and full of flavor, and the loaded fries and pretzel bites were the perfect sides. Great food, great vibes—definitely coming back.

One of the best brats I’ve had in a while! We ordered the spicy beer brat with sauerkraut, caramelized, onions, mustard. The bun was toasted and good quality. We also ordered a local rock hill beer and a whiskey blackberry drink. Great customer service and vibes! Has an indoor and outdoor area.

Update – Spoke with Tim who apologized for the quality of our order. He mentioned that it was not typical and someone should have gone out to the store. He offered to replace our meal. I had twins around this time so was unable to take him up on the offer for a period of time (hence delay in updating this). We finally went in last week and the food was replaced and good as it always used to be. Thankful for the resolution. Attached photo of the new meal. Thanks, Tim! 🙂
Went on 3/9 (yes it’s been a while, I wanted to give the establishment ample opportunity to respond to my complaint via their website, which they haven’t done). Got to the car and noticed the 2 brats we ordered were in containers without buns. Nobody said anything to us about it. Husband went back in to figure out what was going on and they said they “had a busy day yesterday and were out.” I understand restaurants run out of things, but this was not communicated or discussed and no solution was provided. Secondly, we arrived at the time the order was supposed to be ready and it hadn’t even been started. We waited an additional 25 minutes. For 2 brats and no buns… again, no apology or offer for a resolution. We live around the corner and frequented takeout previously, but haven’t been back since. Definitely disappointed in the lack of customer service at the time of pickup and the lack of response via their website form.

Have a look at the pictures and decide for yourself is this is an inviting place to dine. The windows on doors are absolutely filthy. The staff isn’t friendly. Just standing around.
It started drizzling and we tried to open the umbrella and it was broken.
The food was terrible. I got a burger and it had no flavor. Bun straight out of the bag. Not toasted or grilled. Anyone who says the food is good hasn’t had good food.

I don’t really understand the negative reviews. The food is very good, and the drinks are always well made. I’ve been coming here for four years, and everything is consistently well done.
The atmosphere is lively, and the place is always busy with people in a good mood.
I really like the staff. Brian always checks on our dog and offers to bring her water, and he’s always friendly with us. The blonde bartender who once dressed as a bride (I’m sorry, dear… I’m old and forgot your name) is wonderful: always kind and attentive. All the bartenders are quick, friendly, and patient with my limited English and with the language barrier my international coworkers face when I bring them here.
So far, it’s my favorite spot in the area.

A neat, roomy environment with a great outdoor turf patio. Water bowls for dogs. Not much shade on a hot day outside. The food is good, nicely presented, unique menu. There wasn’t a lot of tastiness but what we had was good. Service was nice, fast, considerate. Lots of focus on alcoholic beverages. I imagine it is more popular on the cooler evenings. Not overly expensive.

We had a really great time on our first visit Saturday. We came out to support my friend Neil and his acoustic show. He was so good and the atmosphere was nice and chill. My friend ordered the Bahn Mi brot and she said it was really good. I got the Poutine fries. The cheese curds in it were so yum. I got an apple and cinnamon mimosa and it was fantastic I got another one. Thanks for a great night out. I like that you can bring the whole fam, have a date night, or just chill with friends! I will be back for sure.

We love it here. We visit as a company for happy hour, and we’re always pleased. The service is always top-notch, the drinks are made well, and the food is always a treat. I love the outdoor seating area and that there are frequently puppies around. The live music is great too!!
